Hi,
I was wondering if you know if Russell was in the Army in WWII and knew Lewis Ralph Speed. If this is the same man then I have a picture of Russell in uniform.

RE: Mary Pearman
Hi Cindy. Yes, Clinton Abraham Pearman was my grand mother's biological father. His wife was Stella Bales (adopted last name Fleener). Sadly, they have no grave markers, though they were supposedly buried at Bourbon Cemetery near Tuscola.

His parents were Charles "Charley" Pearman and Maggie Straight. I have Maggie's birth and death dates. Charley's seems uncertain, and I've never been able to locate a death date for him. I'm hoping a grave can be located for him some day, as I assume he was buried in Illinois.

Mary must have been his second wife, and the date of death on findagrave for her corresponds to an edition of the Decatur Review, which talks about her death.

He had a third marriage to a woman named Sarah Stump (maiden name Laughlin) in June of 1926. She died just a couple years later.

Mary Pearman
I am curious about your listing for Mary Pearman at Tuscola Township Cemetery. I am related to many of the Pearmans from that area. Your listing says she was married to Charles Pearman. I am sure that is my 2nd g-grandfather, whose son was Clinton Pearman. I was wondering where you found this information. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Mason Becker

Garrett's and Jackson's
Hi Cindy, I found some of my family at Wayside that you have added. The Garrett's are my grandmother's family and I've been trying to locate all of them, while looking up some information on Archives I found my great-grandfather John Jasper Garrett, which I have added. Whatch say let's try to connect the rest of the family. Mary Ann is his wife (75227717).
Jasper (124693943)--Winnie is the daughter (75232383) Thomas J. is their son (the one married to Dora) there is another Thomas J. who is their son- married to Eula. I guess he may still be living.
I'm still looking for graves for their sons George W. and John Murray and their daughter Mattie-- Josey is my grandmother.

If you are not kin to the rest of the family, could I ask to have them transferred to me?
Peace and Love--Leigh

My mistake. It's the 1900 census and they married in 1897, so they had been married for 3 yrs. I mis-read it. It's correct. thanks for responding.

Hi Cindy,

I made those updates. I also sent requests to add his parents' nicknames, based on the photos of their grave markers.
