Have no idea if anyone objects, but to be on the safe side, Sunday worked the best as sometimes staff would be in the office. Lay the book on the table and flip thru the pages. Watch for the occasional guard or visitor. Just need the 'D' book. Thanks

A couple years ago, a friend took photos of the book pages on the shelf. There are many buried that are not online so going thru each page to ensure they have an entry. I must have messed up, as I don't have the 'D' book pages. Does this interest you? Thanks

You are very welcome. Was my pleasure to be out and about today in the nice warm sunshine walking the cemeteries.

Robin - To answer your question - I'm not sure. I was going off of the obit posted on the memorial. You are right though - my request maybe too early since his death. And Yes, please check if you are there in the next few months. Again I appreciate your time and effort.

Thank you Robin for attempting to photograph the marker for William Dale at Cheltenham Maryland Veterans Cemetery. In error I was going by the memorial itself and now see it is no longer listed there. Thank you again for taking the time and effort to fulfill my request.

The Vet Assoc have them buried in Cheltenham but the Cheltenham does not have them listed. SocSec has their last residence as Anne Arundel. Wondering if they are buried in Crownsville. Just a thought.

Not sure we could join you, but if you do plan an outing to clean up the cemetery on weekend, please let me know. Maybe the family can come down to help. Kirk.LeCompte@usa.net

Thanks so much for the great photos of the Worthington family tombstone, in particular the inscriptions for Eliza Worthington, and her son Alexander Contee Worthington. Eliza was born Eliza Chaytor, daughter of Commodore James Chaytor, but she is often referred to as Eliza Jordan. This is either a mistake introduced by her progeny, or a middle name that only her family knew. It's interesting to note that the name Jordan only appears on her sons grave and not hers. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for the photo of Mary's headstone. I really appreciate it! Mary was the youngest sister of my grandfather. She was a very sweet and kind lady. The work you do for Find a Grave is invaluable! Thanks - James

Sorry I've taken long to reply.
I am the great granddaughter of Vic and Josephine Gorringe.
I have some records of them in my genealogy records my father gave me.
I never knew them. I am the granddaughter of their youngest child--Lawrence.
I just saw the photo of my greats and am so happy (on the memorial). I wanted to see a photo of them. Actually surprised pleasantly as Edward Victor looks like my dad (or rather, my dad looks like him).
How nice to talk with you.

|Yolli||RE: Beausejour Requests|
I just fulfilled your requests. Let me know if you don't think the photos are good enough and I will remove them. In our trees we share the name Zielke so you might be interested to know that I completely photographed and have already posted St. Ouens cemetery, Golden Bay Lutheran and Zion Lutheran in Beausejour. You might find some of your relatives in one of those cemeteries (I recall a woman with the maiden name Milbrandt in Zion). I'm working on posting the Beausejour cemetery photos I took now but I only took a few photos there.
Added by Yolli on Aug 05, 2013 4:38 PM
I see that you have requested two photos from the Beausejour Cemetery. I was recently there in the pouring rain taking photos of my family. Because of the weather and time restraints I was unable to look up any requests. However, once I got home I noticed that in the background of one of my photos I can see the Milbrandt stone. Normally I would not crop something in the background out and post it but I wanted to ask you if you would like me to post the photo and then you can decide if it is suitable. Note that because of the rain the photo is slightly blurry but you can still make out the dates. Let me know if you would like me to fulfill your requests.

Very happy to help! They had just mowed and, with my asthma, I blew off as much of cut grass as I could! His grave is in the "Garden of Valor" which is all military service people. It's lovely.
