No headstone is seen, but you may wish to contact the cemetery to see if a stone was actually placed, or if it is hidden from view, as sometimes happens especially with flush stones.Telephone: 216-421-2665, Fax: 216-421-2415
See photo caption.

Verlin is buried at Glendale. It is near Wister and the cemetery is named Mountain View. It's true, that he is buried at the same place as George and Lucinda. Lucinda's Father is also buried there.

I have seen their name spelled with one and two L.
In the deed work her mother, Elizabeth, is spelled with two L.
I have a coronor's inquisition for Patick McAlister for August 1880. He is buried in Riverview. So far I can't connect this family to mine, but I will continue to research. The Riverview McAllister's came from Ohio as I have found them in Vinton and Cuyohoga county census. They had 9 children: Thomas, Mary Ann, Agnes, Joseph, Bridget, Patrick, Katie, Peter and Sarah.

Thank you for the information. I didn't know any of this. I have just started working on the McAlister line. I am researching Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) McAlister who lived in the River Bend community across the river from Cumberland City. She has a son and daughter, James and Susan. Susan is my husband's gggrandmother.
Thanks for the info.

I believe so, I have yet to connect all of them. However, Patrick is as the very least a brother-in-law. I would take them in transfer if you would be willing to do so. Thanks

|Bill Warren||RE: Kimberly Brabson|
The funeral company marker was Galbraith-Pickard in Weatherford, TX. While they may have ordered a marker, and it may be shipped to the funeral home, they would not normally install it. Generally, the installation cost is borne by the family. The funeral home would refer the family to a company that does installation.
I do hope a family member follows up on a marker. In the many cemeteries I visit throughout the county, it is sad to see nothing but a rusting funeral home marker with no information regarding the burial.

I should be hearing form "Tia's" father sometime in the next few days, I will let you know how it goes. But I think I remember that Tia's father was a junior, m-m-m, Nevertheless the Church family was very, very nice and friendly! I will be in touch and take care.
I am sorry about your husband, my first husband passed away, courtesy of Agent Orange, it is very sad how our vets have been repaid for their service.

|pgrfrose||The Ashe Couple|
I visited the cemetary and talked with some people at a function going on at the church. I actually talked with Tia who is the grandaughter of this couple. Per Tia, they did not have a marker for their grave other than two blank "concrete" blocks. She is having her father contact me so we may be sure that this is her grandparents. FYI, family legend has it that her grandmother grieved herself to death as she and her husband were so close.Harvey and Cindy Ashe were very well known at this church. Thanks. I did take pictures of this cemetary, the location of their graves and the church. If you would like these pictures, please let me know. Thanks, Pat Rose

thanks for your note, and yes, I bet he was a great guy and a hero to me. If you could, please pass on to his widow, if she ever wants a photo, just email me, and I'll be happy to provide it, especially around Christmas time when they place the green wreathes next to the grave or Memorial Day when all the flags are out. I walk it 2x a month and place flags on the newly marked graves. They are not forgotten!

i did most of this cemetery in 2008. went back and shot some missed stones in 2010 but i couldn't tell you if this is one of those missed stones or not. i'm slowly trying to put them all on the cemetery site but one thing and another has really slowed me down.

Bell, I wish I'd seen your request earlier. because I surely would have transferred Blake over you at that time. I did find one request from you from Feb 2013, but I couldn't find the others. I also found a request to link him to his mother from Jan 2010. Please forgive me for not seeing these before. I'm trying real hard to catch up and would never want to miss a family members request to transfer. Thank you so much for your patience.
