|Wanda Smith||Connection between Garner and McWhorter|
Hello - based on my research I think Fannie A McWhorter and Mary Lee Garner were sisters. They were the daughters of Butler Garner and Mary F. Bars Garner. Hope that helps.
Mary Lee Garner
Birth: Aug. 13, 1898
Death: Aug. 22, 1974
Mary Lee Garner's grave is beside Fannie A McWhorter. Because the stones are so similar, I am wondering if they are mother and daughter. Same design, Same granite, but Fannie's is larger than Mary Lee's.

I didn't mean to create a ruckus. My grandfather is buried in Pisgah and I know exactly where it is. I just thought it was something you could change easily. It is not a big deal and no worry. I appreciate what you have done.
Best to you,

The directions to Pisgah Cemetery should be:
Directions: From Palestine, TX drive north on Farm Road 315. At the community of Brushy Creek turn west (left) on Farm Road 837 and you will see the cemetery on the north (right) side of the road.
Note: On the south (left) side of the road you will see the old Brushy Creek arbor, the site of an annual Homecoming.

|Bernard-Trigg||RE: Granny Mc|
There is a good chance she was married to John McLen who is buried at Providence but I have no proof. I suggest you email David Tharp and ask if he knows since he created the memorial for Mary. Good luck.

hey dale :)
when i sent the message to you, it was my second time on find a grave. first time was a looooong time ago. i didn't find what i was looking for and just didn't go back. but i found a picture of the headstone of someone on my tree. the picture was on find a grave so i went back to it and just started trying different names. i ended up on your comment.
fannie was a garner (my husband's family). she married john mcwhorter. odell mcwhorter i think was john's brother. my husband remembers odell from when he was a kid. odell was marshall here at that time. he was known to be so tough that when he was supposed to go pick someone up on a warrant, he would just call them up and they'd turn themselves in! i have the listing for the providence cemetery. there are some stewarts there and some mcwhorters. if you haven't found those yourself, i can give them to you.
anyway, i really don't know how to "control" any of this. but thanks for the offer. i'm still way too new to find a grave. i'd like to know who actually submits these gravesites? it was quite an addition to my geneology to find the headstones of some of my own folks!

|Pam Jetsel||Richard C Crutcher|
Was greatly interested to happen upon family info, as Richard C Crutcher is my gr-gr-grandfather thru his son Richard Crutcher who married Minnie Bell Combs. Was wondering if you have any information on him at all. I have very little info other than just marriage and death dates and who he married. No photos etc
Thanks in advance for anything you might be able to share.
