Susanna Johnson request
Interestingly, I completed this request along with a separate request by Bill Walton for 'Lizzie Walton' who is also listed on this headstone. I wonder how, if at all, Lizzie and Susanna are related?

RE: Mary Lingle date of death
I've retrieved the picture of the Mary Lingle stone taken by a Boy Scout in 1991. It appears he did a chalk rubbing so he could read it. I placed the photo on her Find A Grave memorial. Thank goodness for these photos by the Boy Scouts. It's remarkable how much the stones have deteriorated in just 20+ years.

RE: Mary Lingle date of death
Also, Mary is buried next to Thomas Lingle, the founder of our town, 1742-1811.

RE: Mary Lingle date of death
Back in the 1990s several boy scouts chose as their Eagle Project the transcription of the stones in the cemetery. Twenty years later when I photographed the stones the deterioration was evident. The death date was from the boy scout's transcription. They also took a picture of the stone. I don't have that with me right now. But I will double check it asap.

RE: Emily Clough Dunbar
I'm a descendant of Joel Clough (brother of Emily Clough Dunbar). He and all his children were born in Fabius, NY. They moved to the Holly, Michigan area after 1830 (five of his sons enlisted during the Civil War). I've been adding a lot of info and links for Joel & his descendants. Looking forward to the Sally Clough Bacon information ... also thought that photo of Abraham Cluff Dunbar is classic. Thanks!

RE: Emily Clough Dunbar
Abel Clough (1765 - 1815) was my G-G-G-G-Grandfather. I provided the bio info for Abel and have been busy linking his children.

Hi just saw your message on my page - I sent you an email a little while ago. I am not related and the information that I posted was from a death certificate. I now the photo is not correct and am having trouble removing it, the delete photo is not showing up on the memorial. Since you are related I would be more than happy to transfer Clara to you.

Find A Grave Correction: Julia Thompson
I have made the death date correction to Julia's memorial. It was probably just a mistake. I found nothing in notes to the contrary. Thank you for the information.

Leon Belding
Thanks for your correction. It is supposed to be Leon, not Leona. A slip of the finger, I guess. If this is a relation to you, I would be happy to transfer. Let me know if you want to manage the memorial (and his wife, Flossie). Thanks.

RE: Robert Kell Family
Hi Diane - good to hear from you!
My Mom's first cousin was George Pollauf, who married Rosemary Volz. Rosemary's mother was Georgia Kell Volz, who was Robbie's sister and the daughter of George (Robert) Kell and Helen Sampson. Rosemary used to talk about her mother and grandmother a lot and loved to talk genealogy. So I'm not directly related - but more "shirttail" relation. I found the death certificates/newspaper article for Robert & Robbie and thought it was so sad - included the note on their entries on Find A Grave. Here's the link to the article:

How are you related? Were you in contact with Rosemary & George before they passed away? Let me know if you want the links to the death certificates.

Diane too

Hi Diane,
I took all of the photos in that cemetery. I'm related to a bunch in there but I'm sorry I'm not related to your Tina. Hugs.
