John Templeton, # 52336097
I asked the cemetery secretary to check the interment card for Sec F Lot 143. It only lists George Welk DOD 1939 and Mrs Ida Welk DOD 1941. There is no mention of John Templeton on the card. Yet the burial book indicates he is buried there.

Wilson, Charles L b 1876
buried in MI, another find a grave contributor suggested we might be related and to check with you. I wasn't able to find on your home page the Wilson/Webster people to check. Can you contact me and let me know if we have some connections?

George Dailey
I searched Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster, WI for your George Dailey. His memorial page says 1864-1931. I did find a George Dailey but the dates on the stone are 1864-1938, he shares a stone with a Florence M. 1873-1915. There are two other Dailey stones next to this stone for a Laura Dailey 1896-1912 and a Carl Dailey 1913-1946. Could this George be your George? Let me know if it is and I can fulfill your photo requst.

John Templeton, # 52336097
The SVC Burial Book 1882-1913, pg 43, line 39 lists John Templeton, DOB 5 Jan 1824 in Armstrong Co, PA, DOD 9 June 1901, interred 11 June 1901 in Section F Lot 143. Parents were William and Rachel Templeton. Burial permit obtained by E.S. Templeton.

I checked the Mercer Cty Cemetery Inscriptions Book 9 for any entry on John. There does not appear to have been a stone when the survey was taken in summer of 1980. The stone could have been down and grown over.

The SVC List of Lot Owners show George Welk as the lot owner of Section F Lot 143.

RE: Albaugh family plot
Sorry for the confusion ! The photo I posted was wide enough to show the line of Albaughs in that lot. They rest in the center row. I can crop the first row if you prefer. I have gotten this request repeatedly and figured I'd better post something to list them as unmarked. For confirmation, please call the cemetery office as they prefer to talk to "family"

Oneta Cemetery Duluth MN photo requests

No need to get back to me as it will likely be someone else who takes the photo.

== To see a list of memorials you have requested photos for at Oneta, you could go to your own Contributor's page or go to the cemetery's page here

This is a large cemetery that prefers not to provide PLOT information to volunteer FindAGrave photographers. Please contact the office for plot information [ask if they know if there is a gravemarker and what type it is which is helpful to put in the PLOT field for the photographer] and enter it into the PLOT field if you maintain the memorial. If you do not maintain the memorial, please go to the memorial and suggest an [Edit] for the PLOT field.

Hi! Regarding your photo request, can you please contact the cemetery and obtain the Section, Lot, and Grave Number information, and then post it to your request? Please also ask if there is a grave marker and add that information to your photo request and/or memorial. The Find A Grave FAQs state the photo requestor is responsible to provide this information.

Elmwood Cemetery: (708) 453-0273

This cemetery provides extremely limited assistance to photo volunteers with finding a grave's location. Last year I was able to fulfill almost 200 photo requests at Elmwood through this process. Because the lots in this cemetery are poorly marked, almost no one else ever photographs here. I have only had success here because I have spent literally weeks at a time to learn the intricacies of the layout of this cemetery.

Thank you for helping me to help you.

josephine herrmann
Hello there! I am researching a painting that I have that is signed Josephine Herrmann June 1st 1901. The painting was found several years ago in an antique shop near Cleveland Ohio. I had it cleaned and framed, a charming oil on canvas scene of an old homestead. It measures about 10 x 14. My guess is that this painting was painted by someone who was not a proffesional or trained artist as it appears very 'loose' in technique. Do you know if the Josephine Herrmann that you posted info about on Find A Grave happened to be an artist? Please let me known if you have any info.
Thank you so much!

RE: Charles Bittle
I am not understanding your comment:
"""Cemetery name changed, did not find the plot number you mentioned"""

is this the one is who buried at Vineland Cemetery, Asotin County, WA and NOT buried at Normal Hill Cemetery, ??????

I'm not sure what you are referencing..

Frederick Collum
Fred's memorial gives his birth and death years as 1859-1897. This info is different than his death certificate. The burial marker is in error.

b. 1856 Michigan
d. 6 Aug 1895 Ann Arbor, Washtenaw, Michigan

son of Myron and Caroline Collum

RE: Tidd Family
hello this is holly nagy. Miriam and james tidd granddaughter (eldest child of their son Harold) I am just know getting back into the family history thing and am still blundering around trying to navigate. currently would like to update my grandfathers site to include the rest of his children and pictures of him. over the last couple of years I have managed to come across a lot of very old photos of our family and have visited many grave yards where I took a lot of photos, now the trick is pulling it all together, I found in my grandmothers belongings that had went to my dad Harold then to me much correspondence between you and Miriam thru letters. she saved them all by the looks of it. how are we related? appreciate all the time and effort you have put in to this project. looks like you have been at it for a very long time. I to am interested but am really a rookie at this, but trying!!! thanks holly nagy

Mary Luella Organ Erdice 58850235
Hi! I don't know if this can be of any help to you, but as I'm transcribing an obituary index from 1971, I've found a Luella Organ Erdice. Her obituary (or possibly just a death notice, can't tell from the index) appears in the Warren Tribune Chronicle on 20 Sep 1971 7:1. If you want, you could contact the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library's Local History and Genealogy Center and see if they could email you a copy of that article. Their website is, and from there just look for the green Local History tree and their request form. ~Sherry

RE: Beverly Ann Hall Scott
She still lives in Warren, Ohio. I'm planning on calling her over the New Years holiday. I'll get her information then and pass it on.

Thanks so much for your dedication to find a grave. It provides information for people when they are ready for it.

Thanks again and I'll send you the information as soon as I get it.
