Re Adolph Farragut. Check the site. I hope I have it right. I hate to get in the middle of family disputes so I didn't post the last comment but will if you want.

RE: Francisco Aurelio
This is to assure you that my husband and I are involved in researching his family together. He is a retired trial attorney, and his questions are direct. We were not diminishing the quality of your research. You have been very helpful. We were surprised that you would take such offense. If you recall, when we provided the information from Francisco Esteban Metzler's death certificate that Eulogia Garcia was his mother, you insisted on a second source before you would accept it. Only after we provided his baptismal documentation were you satisfied. That is why we thought you would have sources pertaining to Carmen Hansen. We have no doubt that Francisco may have had a relationship before Eulogia. It appears he was 29 when their first child was born. We are seeking information about that and his life before Eulogia. With respect to Aurelio, relatives told us that Aurelio was a son of Frank and Eulogia based on anecdotal information from their family members. We have the baptism record showing he was the Padrino for Maria Nenninger but it doesn't say that he and Ana Diaz were husband and wife. Wishing you well. Ruthann and Phil

The birthplace seems to be in great question. Along with the sources you have quoted, her son, Edward & son, Dionicio's Death certificates state she was born in Arizona. Her daughter, Simona's birth certificate states she was born in El Paso, Texas. Sons, Luis, Joaquin, Ramon & Narciso's Death Certificates show her born in Tucson as does daughter, Celia. No direct relative seems to believe New Mexico or Mexico.

I was wondering how you found this information on this family? :)

I have been doing research on this family and trying to connect the dots any help regarding this would be helpful. You can message me privately. Thank you so much!

Lara Family...
Everything is okay. Thanks for your research. I would tell you more information about the family, but I prefer it to be private not public.

Lara family posts...
Dear rlahistory,

Thank you for entering the Lara family. This family is in my family tree. They are relatives and I wanted to know how you came across the information, and where can I find your data.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Francisco Aurelio "Franc" Metzler
This is with respect to Memorial 116079342, for my husband's great, great grandfather. We appreciate the Memorial you established on Global FindaGrave on August 26, 2013, but would like to refer you to Memorial #114044810 established July 19, 2013. The July memorial includes information based on extensive research and documentation located by family members. On behalf of the family, we have some questions about the Memorial you established. We have no evidence or source that Francisco was married to Carmen Hansen. Can you provide a source for your information? Also, what is your source for his middle name "Aurelio". His death certificate with his wife Anna Diaz as the informant indicates his name was Frank A. Metzler. We have no information or source that his middle name was Aurelio. Can you help us by providing a source for that. We have spent years researching Frank Metzler and his family and will appreciate your help with the information we do not have so that we can be entirely accurate. Thanks again very much! Ruthann

I noticed that you requested a change of birthplace to Arizona, yet the California Death Index shows Arkansas, and the 1920 and 1910 census show Arizona. How did you resolve?

Requested a photo of memorial from our great volunteers here, as there is a difference on the dates between the directory from the cemetery (which is known to have errors) and what is listed in the California Death Index data. Better to be safe than sorry.

Do you know of any links for other family that we should add to other memorials?

Please reply using the edit button on her listing, so I have it connected. Thanks, and happy Find A Graving.

re Monreal
I think only the person posting the picture can remove it even if it is on someone else's memorial.
So which entry for Frank Monreal do you want me to remove? the July one or the Sep one?

I was wondering if you knew if Quiguis was her maiden name, it's just a suspicion but I know you've been working on this family and figured you'd know more than me.

Re: Lida/Lula Munoz
You sent this note & I said I agree that the Lida I entered looks like it's probably Lula.
I have created memorial for "Lula Marguerite." Is it possible "Lida" is actually "Lula?" If so, let me know and I will delete. Thank you.

You haven't deleted your entry yet so I went ahead & deleted mine.

RE: 18816295 Celia Lopez
Okay. But you have Louisa Corpus as her mother and both the Birth & Death certificates have Louisa Johnson.

Re: Celia Lopez
I believe you sent dates for Celia Lopez #18816295 thru the "Edit" process - a babe who was born & died in 1923. Than you sent her parents names as Marcelino Lopez & Luisa Corpus.

On the AZ death certificate for Anacleto Lopez, assuming this is Celia, the death month & day and the birth month & day don't quite match. Also the parents listing on the dc are Tranquilino Lopez and Aurelia Martinez.

Can you straighten me out regarding this?

Re: Lida/Lula Munoz
I think you're right and my Lida #18816714 should be Lula. The stone is hard to read.

Re: Francisca Villareal #63102256
You sent a link for a spouse for her, Jesse Greer (1845-1903) #95769504. I'm wondering if you have a source for this since he is 40 years older than her & his obituary says he had a wife & 3 children. Francisca was only 18 yrs old when he died.

Her birth date shown on her AZ death certificate is 1885.

Just want to verify this before I add it.

Maria Juana Flores - mother of Cesario "Ricardo" Chavez
Thank you for your kind efforts in putting the family of Cesario "Ricardo" Chavez on findagrave. It is much appreciated. He is my husband's gr-grandfather.

I would very much appreciate knowing the source of his mother's name, Maria Juana Flores.

Thank you,

I transcribed the obituary. Thank you for sending it to me. I was unable to copy it cuz of the red mark. My dad was an engineer for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 42 years. We were not poor but we were not rich either. Obviously, she had all the money from her first husband. Lucky gal! I spend all our money on genealogy research. Our house needs serious work but I'm addicted to genealogy. Spend money on death certificates, marriage certificates, obituaries, historical societies, etc. I am not only doing my line but my cousin's as well.

I found added an obit for him, did more research and linked him to his adopted father and his mother. I declined your request but after doing more research, I did do it. I'm sorry I didn't do more complete research before declining him. I added that his birth father was Charles McCreary and that Julius is his adopted father.

Moreno, Guadalupe
I think your submission is a duplication. I got a clearer picture today and it is for a male. The memorial for Paz is next to him and I assume that might be his wife. The next row up is a memorial stone for a Jose Maria.
So even though our birth dates differ and you know that happens often; it seems to be for the same person.

Moreno, Guad
My Moreno was for a male I think as inscription says from wife, son, etc.
Birthdates are a year off but that isn't a big deal.
So hard to say if it is a duplicate. Why not leave both for the time being. Next time I am out there I'll try to locate the grave and get a better picture.

I tried to delete one of the photos as you requested but it wont allow me to do so. I think only the person that submitted the photo can delete it from the memorial. Maybe I am just not going to the right place I am not sure. Sorry I wasn't able to delete one of them. Hope all is well with you. Take care.
