Thank you so much for telling her story. I am still amazed that you found her headstone and I found her story and now they are joined together.
Even though she is unknown, at least now her story is told and that makes me feel better. I believe everyone needs to be remembered, even if we don't know their name.

|Angel||Little Miss Nobody|
I came to Find A Grave today to add a child, Little Miss Nobody, later named God's Little Child.
I checked to be sure she had not already been added and she had. Thank you so much for adding her. I have a web site where I feature children who have been abused to death. I added this little Angel years ago and this month I started updating pages, which includes checking for Find A Grave additions.
My heart smiled and I got tears in my eyes when I saw that someone cared enough to add this little Angel who was abused to death. If you want to read her story on my site and find out just a little more about her, she is here:
God bless you for adding her!

Hello Patricia- I wanted to thank you for posting the photo of Walter Raether's headstone. Walter was married to my Great Grandmother Helen Hillen Raether. I was wondering if you might have any photos of Walter and or Helen. I have been working on my tree for 20 years. Any photos would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless, Karla Grant Green firstname.lastname@example.org

It appears to say son of Wm S and Sarah E maybe T.
Sarah's initial is worn and hard to read.
William is buried in the cemetery although cemetery records have them listed as Balser. I do not see a Sarah Balser or Bolser.

|Norman Dagen||Changing parents|
Hi again Patricia -
I was informed that since you are the person who maintains the memorial for Thomas James Gauthier, you may change his parents. The correct parents are
Father Find A Grave Memorial# 89527410
Mother Find A Grave Memorial# 67034728
Thank you for doing this.

parents names - There are 7 people interred in this lot. the mother's name is clear - Sarah, it appears as if the father is WM S - so it could be this is the William Sherwood.
However, of these 7 only David has a marker and it is limestone so is badly deteriorating
George A Circle d 1918
Ruth A Circle d 1906
David L Balser
John L Balser d 1904
Louisa Balser d 1904
Elsie L Balser d 1913
William Sherwood Balser d 1936

Hi Patricia - I figured that out early, but thought I would leave a heads up for you too. I sent the other person a message and hopefully the situation will be rectified soon. This has already caused confusion with a person who emailed me this morning and asked questions, THANKFULLY !

Please find that Alletta B Johnston is not Thomas James Gauthier's (Find A Grave Memorial# 94785130) mother. There is an incorrect connection here.
Thomas was born in Lake Leelanau (Provemont/Centerville at the time) Leelanau County. He died in Muskegon, Michigan. However, Alletta is not is mother and was never married to George Gauthier (at least not the George Gauthier linked in this memorial).

Thank you so much for these transfers. It is very greatly appreciated. I'll try to get to their updates as soon as possible. At the moment I have a very big glitch in my FTM/Ancestry programs that I have to get taken care of as soon as possible.
Augustus King #96275937 and Clara King #96275980
Again, thank you so much for this and for all the hard work you do.

I see you've posted some pictures from the Michigan Bluff cemetery. Before I go up there tramping around I was wondering if you took pictures of everything you could find or if you were researching a specific person or persons. There is a request from another member that I was going to try to fulfill since I live in Foresthill but want to know what I'm up against.

Filling the request was fast because you did the hard part by listing the location. Thanks!! I have no idea why this cemetery wants to charge the volunteers if they provide the location to us. Glad you liked the photos! :)

"The Order of the Eastern Star (OES) is a female companion organization to Freemasonry. Men who are Master Masons may also join. Their primary symbol in cemeteries is a five pointed star with a tip pointing down, representing the Star of Bethlehem. The letters are FATAL, which stand for Fairest Among Ten-thousand, Altogether Lovely."
