Simon Jasper Hendrickson
Hi Gina,
Sorry for my impatience. Even the slightest hint of where the names "Ira Hendrickson" and "Williams" came from would be helpful to me. I know that "Ira" can be a nickname for "Israel". I would be so appreciative of any information you can provide.

Ashby Warden Groce Cemetery
Gina, do you have any info on location of the subject cemetery? The GPS info on web is incorrect, we've ben there. One uncertainty is in which end of Creason Hollow it is located - the end as you enter the hollow from Gimlet or all the way back.
Thanks, Jim

Ida May Buntley
Gina, I am hoping to get all of the children of William Hudson Ashby linked to his memorial. Would you please link Ida May Ashby Buntley to her father and his second wife, Ellen E. Ashby? I sent a correction request with the memorial numbers in it. Thanks.

RE: Neece Family
Hi Gina ~ thank you so much for responding to my message. Was very happy and excited to receive your response. My lineage goes as following: Henry Neas (Neece), John Neece, Robert Newton Neece, James Ellis Neece, Sherman Neece, Mildred Prudence Neece, Carl Henry Nelson to Angela Nelson Smith. Can't seem to find a lot of info on Sherman Neece. Was told, by my Dad, that he was a Champion Fiddler in the state of Missouri. Yet, I can't come up with any documentation. John Neece was my 4th Great-Grandfather. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Neece Family
Hi Gina...
I just found your pic and thought I'd make contact with you. James Ellis and Sarah Riggs were my 5th Great-Grandparents on my Dad's maternal side of the family. I so feel like a sponge absorbing all this info. As a kid I never thought of my family past my Grandparents. I, too, have been creeped out ~ yet fascinated with cemeteries, death, etc. And I totally get wrapped up each and every time I log into I also find a lot of info just by googling the name of an ancestor.

I'm a California girl. I live about 65 miles south of Sacramento.

How are you related to the "Neece" family?

RE: Neece Pics
My pleasure, Gina! I've used Find-A-Grave for several years and I've seen your many postings. I've been meaning to post some of my pictures but never seem to have time. The High Street Cemetery is pretty remote and it was fun going there. I had to laugh when I saw it because "High Street" in England is like Main Street is the USA and this was no "Main Street"!

My family is inquiring about our beginnings and I found your information to be excellent. We are from the Ira/Simon jasper/joseph elisha Hendrickson Branch.
My grandfather was joseph elisha/ My father was Herschel Arnold Hendrickson DOB 8/22/1922 Hillard MO. Death: Jan 2005 Palmer, Alaska. Buried at Poplar Bluff MO. Elisha died when he was 8 Years old.
I saw one of the son's of joseph elisha's name missing which was Donald Ralph Hendrickson (we called him Uncle Bunny) don't know why except that we were told he was a fast little guy. Bunny died in Colorado Spring Colo. Around 1993 or so. I know he had 3 son's and 3 daughters.
Herschel Arnold was married to Patty Laverne Hendrickson (Anderson) in PB,MO 1947. She is still alive and living with us in Palmer Alaska. She was the daughter of Walter and Lottie Anderson of PB,MO. Herschel had a daughter that was born in 1950 and only lived for 5 days. Herschel's sons are Walter Dean Hendrickson, dob 1952. and Herschel Scott Hendrickson dob 1955. My middle name was given to me from my grandmother Lavada Scott Hendrickson.
Walter Dean has 4 sons. Jared, Nathan, Dallas, Michael. Herschel Scott has 3 children, Laura Christine Hendrickson. Katelyn Brianna Hendrickson, and Cody Abraham Hendrickson.
Laure C Hendrickson is married to a Matt Hendrickson yes the same last name. Don't know linage. They have 4 Children. We would love to keep in touch.
Thank you for your hard work in digging up the information.
We are still interested in information from Ira Hendrickson history and back. We seem to lost track when he went maybe to the Williams to live and this is just a guest.

Our link

From what I can gather John Christian Buntley had a son William Buntley who had a son William A Buntley that married Ida May Ashby. I am from a very long line of the LCT Ashby family. Most recent family there was my father Rufus Edwin Ashby and my grandfather Huling Franklin Ashby. I honestly tried to stay on the Ashby ancestry but it seems like I go off on anyone that I can find any history on:}
