Maj Jacob Burner Golladay
I see you collect info regarding CSA veterans.
One of the Commanders of the 33rd VA Infantry was Major Jacob Burner Golladay. His Find A Grave Memorial# 17240934. He is my 2nd cousin, 4 times removed.
Jacob was the 33rd Va Commander at Antietam and at Gettysburg, and participated in Chancellorsville.
If you are interested, I have a copy of a letter he wrote to his brother following the accidental shooting of Stonewall Jackson.
As the family historian, for 20 years I have collected all military info on our collective surname, i.e. Golladay, Golliday, etc, from the Rev War to current hostilities. I have more data, but don't know if you can use it now.

Howard Byers & Hattie Holowell
Howard Samuel Byers married his only wife Hattie Green Holowell on 6 June 1906 in Goldsboro, Wayne, NC, where he also died 82 years ago today in 1920. Thank you for my being able to observe the anniversary of his very unexpected death. They had six children. She remarried twice. I can give you a detailed history if you're interested.

Howard S. Byers

I've connected Howard to his parents. But when I connected him to the number for his spouse, that came out to be a Hattie Hollowell Fowler--which I didn't think seemed right, so I took that out.

Let me know if I did the right thing.

RE: 51149692
I have added the pictures for John F and Myrta'a stone. I had a picture made thru the chain link fence from the highway but chose not to use it.

If you want to replace them with better pictures later it will not hurt my feelings.

The marker faces the highway and is about halfway between the two cemetery entrances. To get the pictures I used I had to hold the camera hard against the chain link fence.

Thanks for answering my questions and I hope this helps a little.

His obit says he is survived by his wife Annie but he is connected to an Annie that died in 1920? All the children were born after 1920 Did he remarry another Annie? What was her maiden name? Any Idea who his parents were.

William Alexander Crank
I am one of William Alexander Crank's great-great granddaughters. I recently obtained a copy of his death certificate from VDH. His son Harry (informant) gave a birth month & year of September 1832. I thought you could include that information on his memorial at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Nelson County, Virginia.

Someone sent me this man's middle name and when I went to the memorial to add it, there is a blank space where you must have added a photo. I just thought you might like to try again. Go to memorial 29782459.

Helen V Moran
Thank you very much. Looking at the headstone made me realize, that this is not the Helen V Moran that I am researching. Although it is the wrong Helen for me, I am sure someone will find this photo useful and appreciated.
