Re: John M. Reed
Hi BJ,
John M. Reed was my 3rd Great Grandfather. His first wife, Amelia Anna Heald was my 3rd Great Grandmother. Mary Jane, according to her headstone wss born in 1846, died 1868. She married Harvey Christopher Hunter in 1859. Harvey died in the Civil War. When Grandfather moved to Franklin Co., Arkansas, his daughters all stayed with my 3rd Great Grandparents on my Gage Line, Stephen Sparks Gage, Sr. and Mary "Catherine" Sharp Gage. I hope this helps.

Thank you SO much for taking the photo of little Frankie's grave. He died right before I was born, and I remember seeing his gravestone as a young girl and feeling so sad. Thank you again, sincerely.

Native American Prayer Oh Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds, and whose breath gives life to all the world - hear me. I come before you, one of your children. I am small and weak. I need your strength and wisdom. Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset. Make my hands respect the things you have made, my ears sharp to hear your voice. Make me wise, so that I may know the things you have taught my people, the lesson you have hidden in every leaf and rock. I seek strength not to be superior to my brothers, but to be able to fight my greatest enemy, *MYSELF*. Make me ever ready to come to you, with clean hands and straight eyes, so when life fades as a fading sunset, my spirit may come you without shame

Hi, Happy New Year

Is the Andrew Jackson Davis son of William the same person buried at the Hill. The Yell County page has listed as " Brother of James E " if so I can fix my memorial for A.J and Mary Ann Myers with the Research from Ancestry. A.J would be the Uncle of James E Davis correct?.

RE: Petillo Hill
you been busy today....

if you look at Williams 1880 census, George is the next family. How bad do we need that 1870 census. And I can't find it for George W.

thanks for Martha info

Hi B,

I can't find George William Davis, I can't add links without him listed as a son. I need a link to James Emery Davis. All the other Windham's are buried in Petillo Hill. I would think George W Davis and Martha J Windham are there also. I just searched the Yell County site with no luck for the 100th time. :)

Hi B,

I have added William to Petillo Hill, and I am asking if I can use your research from ancestry about the first auto fatality in Yell. And about the Davis not in the 1870 census, And about what your Aunt Alvie said about William was buried in Petillo Hill ? Then I will Add Elizabeth to the Hill. and That way we can link them All.

I saw the memorial for your grandmother, Martha Louisa George Walker. I am looking for the grave of Barbary Freshour George who was living in Yell County in 1880 with her daughter and son-in-law (Sarah Angeline George Petillo and J Thomas Petillo). I know that several members of this family died in Yell county, but I have been unable to find their graves. I am wondering if you know the location of these graves. I believe that Barbary died around 1880, her husband Asa George died about 1870, both in Yell County. Thanks for any ideas that you might have as to their location. Loneta Boyer

Since I could not find Jane in Crown Hill Cemetery. I asked the person who has all of the records to see if they had her listed, but they did not. They said that her husband is buried in the Masonic cemetery which is adjacent to Crown Hill so maybe she is buried over there.

Hi B,

Do you know anything about Carrie O Davenport, this is your great aunt, sister of Sibyl (davenport) Rufus.. any how I can't find her burial spot, So for now I have put her in Ducus Cemetery with her mom and dad. Where I think she is, because, I was told she was at Mt. George. But she is not there, and Dacus Cemetery is Just down the road, in the direction my uncle gave me.

I searched your tree and you have Carrie listed as Carsie Odean Davenport.

I have not talked to you in a while, so Hi.
