|Susan Renfro Anderson||Reuben Clay Stevenson|
I updated his date of death to 1897. Reuben according to the Bible records was born Dec 1874. Figuring that he had not had his birthday at the time of his death at age 22, he would have died in 1897. The 1880 Census shows that he may have been born in 1875 instead. I have posted a picture of the obituary on my ancestry.com web site. However, there was not date on it.

How did you come up with a birth date of Nov 1899?
I showed a birth date of Aug 1899 and also the death date the same year. Am I missing some information on this? He is my grandmother's baby brother.

|June Ford||Martin family|
I have corresponded with you about my husband's Wilson family in Morgan and Miller counties! Imagine my surprise when I saw that you might know about Martins - I was looking at Armistead Martin in Baxter Co Arkansas only because I failed to find Dr, David Pierie Martin there. Very long involved story but the Martins might be connected to my family as well as my husband's - also Willis, Shackleford, et al - I think the Harris family anchors the whole thing. That Dr. Martin started out in Maries County MO and ended up in Mountain Home Arkansas which location interests me. If you have info or are interested in mine, please contact me again..

Amy still does not have a regular marker. A home made marker has been put there and I added it. There was another Otinger buried recently in the cemetery.... Billy Wayne Otinger. Will add a marker for him as well.

Sorry for the the delay but my time took a suddenly twist and it took me longer to get to the cemetery.
Frances, like Jimmie's marker, is nothing but a funeral metal tag. As you can see, it's been chewed up. In another year, it will probably be gone.
I believe that 20% of the people listed in the Orient cemetery has no markers at all.

I've been conducting a search of my family history off n on for years. The pictures of armstead martin and Sarah Galloway are awesome. I am trying to put together a family tree for my dad for upcoming father's day. We are Hannah's which are decedents of Armstead Martin. His daughter Donella Martin was my great grandmother. If you need any info or if you have anymore info on the Galloway family past William Galloway please contact me. Thank you for these great photos.

|June Ford||John M. Wilson|
That is pretty exciting for me as our Willsons came from Monroe Co Indiana which is not very far from Randolph; also our Fords who intermarried in Morgan Co MO came from Decatur Co Indiana which if I remember my map is even closer to Randolph (some Fords were there which is another mystery to me) - will definitely let you know if & when I find more, thank you so much!

Yes, same one. But I don't know what, if any, connection to my husband's Willson/Wilson family. They lived in the same area and there are plenty of reasons to think they might be the same family but I can't say for sure one way or the other. Big question for me is just who was the John Wilson who m. Sarah Collier? I don't even have age or birthplace for him, just that he existed..

Follow-up on previous message: I don't know who that lady is, but do know that she is not Sarah E. Collier, b Dec 1840 Pulaski Co TN, who m. John Wilson. Some of my earlier research was wrong, and I can now find Sarah only in 1900 Morgan Co, but I do know I have the right one; just wish I could find her and even more, John,in earlier censuses. In 1900 she was living with new husband Perry Hedrick and dau Charlotte B. Wilson. She died 7 Nov. 1916, Osage Twp, Morgan Co, MO; Dr's wife gave info but I think she was related - name was Wilda Shelton, nee Sidebottom, dau Peter Sydebotham and Catherine Emilia Collier. No info on burial. When Perry died in 1927, John Wilson of Versailles was informant on death certificate. If you can tell me anymore about Sarah's first husband John, I would really appreciate it.

|June Ford||Wilson, Purl, etc|
Can you tell me what Sarah Collier Wilson #119453077 is doing in the Freeman Cemetery? This is near me and I know lots of the people there but had only seen her in Morgan County and thought she was buried there. (Of course forgot to bring her group sheet so can't be specific about why I thought that.) I know she was living in Morgan County in 1880, and Benjamin was gone. My interest is in the Wilson family; I'm trying to figure out where my husband's family came from and how they figure in with the other Willson/Wilson families in the area. If there is any Cass County connection I'd like to pursue it. Also, I saw Uriah Purl's son listed as great-uncle and wonder where he fits in. My husband's great grandpa George Washington Ford, who was married several times, married a Purl.
