RE: 73474021 Alfred Lee
Hi Lisa -

I did most of my research on Rock Creek in 2011, when I had accounts on and other research sites. I did come up with the possible name of Alfred's wife, Susan Hopping. Is that correct?

I covered almost all of Section C of Rock Creek, but do not seem to have a photo of James C. Lee's gravestone. But Rock Creek is 80 acres with dozens of sections. I looked through all of my photos and didn't find one for James Lee.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help than that. I would suggest trying some of the research web sites / newspaper archives. You can get a one-month subscription to many sites, including I have a person who I pay to do research for me, as well.

Best regards -
Peter B

Sure! It came out of a yearbook, 1948 Alla Rah Annual, College of Emporia. No, I'm not related--just have been working for a long time on my hometown cemetery. BD

Parthenia F. Emerson was born in Cherokee County, Georgia is on 1850 Cherokee County Census with
her mother and father Henry Emerson and Martha Parthenia Jones, Emerson...
Parthenia F. Emerson married William Alexander Johnson 1859. They are on the 1870 Tunnel Hill Georgia Census. Three children Effa, Martha and William S. Johnson. Sorry but this memorial does not belong to me. There are a lot of trees on that have Parthenia Emerson Johnson.
Contact the owner of Parthenia Johnson Memorial on findagrave and use the edit tab top right of the page and ask them to change her maiden name to Emerson.

Flat Rock Road!
There is a cemetery on Flat Rock Road in Oxford GA (NOT THE COOK CEMETSRY) That I can not locate a name for! You can see it from the road it looks to be well kept up but it is in a pasture and I do not want to trespass! Does anyone know the name of this cemetery?,-83.8252887,52m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x88f5ccc9e1d89597:0xcd2774027f153d2d

RE: 28408611 B.M. Sprayberry
I am not sure whether I am related to these particular Sparyberry's or not. I am trying to connect the sprayberry families to the ones I am related to.

My Mother's great Aunt Minnie Stewart [24099926] married James William "Jim" Sprayberry [24099966].

James William's father was born in Alabama and his father was born in N. Carolina.

This line of Sprayberry's also traces back to N. Carolina, but I have not found a connection, yet.

The family has dispersed over all the Southern States, but these particular Sprayberry's may or may not be related. I'm still tracking them down.

If it would help you, you can transfer them to me and I will add what I know to the records.

No problem. I was getting on to ask, when I saw your note- so always do what that person says, or ask if they don't say.
I always give credit too- Your first name was all that was available, but I said findagrave also.

I would like to use your grave photo. (Love that snow on the ground and grave-TO LOOK AT.)

Joel is not my direct kin, working on it for another findagraver Winette Bass Stinson.
