|Sue Tanner||Oroville Anglemier|
Hi Donna, Would you please put city/county/and state on his memorial? I am the grand-daughter of Earl mentioned in the obit. I truly don't know what city and state he is buried in. I know he was B. in Illinois, Lee Coounty.
Thanks much, Sue

You're welcome. I think I'm not quite getting the relationship, though. Are Thomas and Emma the parents of Lydia and Rosa?

Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo request and just wanted you to know that she is buried next to John F. and Rosa Ellen (Dick) Smith. On the other side of the Smiths are Thomas and Emma Dick. They all must be related Lydia. If you know the relationship, please let me know and I will add the links.

Donna was Carol Lee in the service, I noticed you left a flag covered casket on his page. If you have the OB I could put it on the page or transfer them to you.

|Juliaom||Your Reuben Moore|
I have the book "Old Sorrel: The Life of Gilbert Moore", by Rev. Robert E. Walker, 1994.
Gilbert Moore, born 25 Dec 1819, in Rushville Twp, Franklin (now Rush Co, IN.
He is the son of Gardner Moor (son of Robert and Dorothy), b 08 Apr 1794, and was baptized in Chester, MA (see Chester Vital Records) and Margaret Lyons/Lines, who married on 25 May 1815. Gardner and Margaret had seven children and resided in Rushville Twp, IN.
Gilbert married Delilah Harvey, in IN, and had eleven children. Old Sorrel"-Gilbert was active in the Civil War, captured at Chickamauga on 19 Sep 1863, sent to prison and ended up dying at Andersonville on 04 Sep 1864.
This is just to explain this book, there is no index but I scanned it thru and there is no Reuben name in any of the descendants of Robert and Dorothy Abbott Moor.
*also DAR has two Robert Moor Patriots and Rev Walker says some of the data is mixed up, and our Robert Moor was not born in Scotland as is the other Robert, but was born on May 6 1760, prob Rutland, MA.
My husband's mother is in DAR on this Robert line.
So your Reuben has to come from lower down this family line.
Let me know if you get the link to Reuben.

Thanks so much for the transfer. How are you related to this Moor/Moore line.
Andrew Moor is a direct descendant of Robert Moor and Dorothy Abbott of MA, and Robert is an accepted DAR ancestor.
My husband's mother was in DAR on this Moor line, as are my daughters.
If I can help you in any way, let me know.

I agree - we only ask for pics if "related" in our family trees. I'm just compiling info into one email and then print out in case I come across any resistance. The print out of just the requests isn't proof of relation if I get stopped and asked what I'm doing as I see happened to a vol recently and they left to "never go back". My husb told me it's a Private cemetery owned by Alexander. He has a g'ma and other relations there.

|Mrs Donna Schauss||Photo Request|
Park Lawn Evansville IN S Greenriver Rd corner of Covert - Sending to all photo requests: Cancel old & Re-submit with "relation to deceased" since cemetery policy prohibits non relation from taking pics & may encounter problems as a volunteer has recently. I've been able to take some pics 4/28/13 but my luck could run out and would like to have proof of relationship of whom I'm taking pic for & see if they will accept that info. This also updates the request since some have been "cancelled or expired".

|Rowena AtLee||Harvey Bennett memorial|
Donna, I went over to the memorial garden on wednesday to get the picture. I was pretty sure I remembered seeing individual plaques when I had been there before. This time there were none. Only the one that the Rose garden is in memory of. I took a couple of pictures and will post on the memorial garden site. In the meantime I'm trying to check with staff at CRC to find out more info about individual plaques.

Earl J is apparently her husband. There is a gravestone at Greenlawn with Earl's name and dates and Norma's name and birth date of Nov 9, 1924, but no death date. The reason I asked you about this is, your name appears on the request for a photo of her gravesite. Dean

Hi Donna, Could you please remove just the obituary newspaper clipping that you added to my Grandfather, Claude Elsworth Anderson's memorial page? I tried to delete it since I had also typed it in the biography portion of his page. Hope all is well with you & thanks so much for all you have done in the past for our families. Linda Butterfield
