You wrote that my memorial was a duplicate. Mine was made first so the other person's is the duplicate. I wrote and asked them to remove theirs.

I have sent a message to the owner of the other memorial for Mary. Once he updates both Mary and her husband, Hibbard, I plan on getting rid of both of mine.
Thanks for the catch.

|JRPMS||RE: Marquardt & Gnass|
Did you find the Gnass family in Oak Park in the 1940 census? They're with the Saffrans & Marquardts.

|Allen H. Smith||Catharina "Schmith"|
Funny - I had never noticed the headstone text was a blend of Schmidt and Smith - a clever solution to the question of what is their real last name. Michael Schmidt was born in Germany, so clearly Schmidt. But then his children took the name "Smith" in the US. Don't know why the grave marker has a blend. Next time I think of it, I'll ask the family genealogist, Don H. Smith, what he knows about it. Thanks for pointing this out.
Allen Smith - about 6 generations down the line from these folks.

Thank you so much for the photos of Isaac and Seraphina's tombstones. I posted a request quite a while ago and was told that the stones didn't exist. I can't remember if I removed the request. but I was not notified of your pictures. I am thrilled.

|Barbara Long||Grand Lawn Cemetery|
Thank you for all you've done and continue to do for Find A Grave.
I'm just getting started adding memorials and can't imagine doing as much as you have done.
I would like to ask your permission to copy the diagram that you have provided for Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan to the memorial I created for my grandmother, Beatrice Eleanor Thompson Stone d. 1944. And if possible add the diagram to her profile onmy tree on Ancestry. If this is not possible, I surely will understand and respect your wishes.

Thank you Julie, your efforts are always tireless.
I guess she and her daughter have no markers. That's my great-great grandmother and great grandmother. I have evidence that says she's there and the same for my great grandmother Antrim county. It's sad to find this out.
I really appreciate your efforts and your help. Did you by chance get a confirmation from someone in the cemetery office?
