Millicent Frances (Saltmarsh) Cain
I have added a photo to your memorial for Millicant Frances "Millie" (Saltmarsh) Cain #14621040. She is buried by her first husband, John D. Collins so I sent you an edit to change her last name to Collins and ask that you link her to John D. Collins. Milly and John D. were married in 1894. Milly was born in 1873 according to her cemetery stone and her nickname is spelled: Milly on her stone. Hope these edits help.

Shannon B
Blackman @ Mt Muncie
Hi Lissa!

I wanted to let you know I added grave photos to your memorials for the Blackman Family at Mt Muncie Cemetery in Kansas. The names: Marion, Gordon, Ethel, and Louis.

The Timberlake Family is buried in an adjacent plot: Irvie & Harry Timberlake. Not sure if they are related to Marion seeing as that her maiden name is the same. Though you might be interested.

Best Regards
Shannon B

I have a picture of Emma Bartlam (# 104518552) with two of her grandsons, is it okay if I add it to her Find-A-Grave memorial? Her grandsons are my mom's first cousins.

James Wilbur Hustead, Find A Grave Memorial# 36812397
Lissa,
I noticed your memorial for James Wilbur Hustead on Find A Grave.
He was my uncle, my mother was his sister Norma Schmidt.
In reading through the newspaper obituary I noticed some mistakes the paper made regarding his children and grandchildren. Being very interested in genaelogy myself I know how confusing this information could be in the future.
I emailed a corrected version to you if you would like to revise the page you have for him.
Thanks for all the work you do make these records available.

Obits. added. I will transfer back later today after I double check my typing. Husband is needing me for the better part of the afternoon so it will probably be this evening before I can transfer them back to you.

RE: John Mikel
I didn't realize this was a direct ancestor of yours. I would be happy to add the obituary directly to his memorial and then transfer it back to you once I have added it if that is alright. Much easier for me to check for typing errors that way. You have been great about doing transfers before so I hope this isn't a problem this time. We have worked together before but I changed my user name recently. Thanks, M.

John Bircher
Searcing for Cleona Saffell Clem
Lissa: My name is John Bircher and I am the National Public Relations Director for the Military Order of the Purple Heart. I am in possession of a Purple Heart medal for LT Glenn W. Morris, Jr., a US Army Air Corps pilot who was shot down and killed in action on 22 March 1944 over Berlin, Germany. After his death, the Purple Heart, with his name engraved on the back, was sent to his parents who lived in Black Hawk, Iowa. Although he was originally buried with his crew in a 5-person casket in Belgium, he was later moved to a Veteran cemetery in Louisville, KY. The article printed at the time mentioned that he had married Cleona Louise Saffell on 24 June 1943, less than a year before he was killed. We are trying to find anyone who may have known either Glenn or Cleona to return the medal to them and I was so pleased to find Cleona in your family tree (I too am a genealogist). I see that her name at time of death in 1960 was CLEM. Do you have any additional information on either Cleona or any of her children?

Thank you so much for your assistance!

Yours in Patriotism -- John Bircher

Willis Plummer Wright
Hello. Just saw your posting and history for Mr. Willis Wright. Thank you for posting such a wonderful bio. The bio is wonderful, except for leaving out parents names :^).... .

Are you a descendant or know anything about him? I'm trying to find out who his parents were. I had many of my Wright family members go to Macon County, Mo. The names in his family are the same as many of 'my' Wright line.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello. I have been researching our family tree, and the name Hobart Bragg has been attached to my grandmother's name (Helen Miller) in the 1930 Kansas census. Do you happen to have any information about him? Thanks!!

RE: McInturff transfers
What I've checked thus far is good. I haven't yet who Eliza is and how she's connected to the rest of the family. And I did know that the Clems and the McInturffs intermarried on numerous occasions, as well as were buried in the same cemeteries.

Just catching up.
I think I have about all the requests done for transfers sent your way yesterday, Nov. 28th, but there may be a few out there yet. You should have all the Bragg's linked together once you do the family links I sent.
I just hope the obits. have helped you. It is always nice to know that all this work typing up obits, etc. is welcomed.
I was wondering if you have a computer or do you have to go someplace to use one? You mentioned that you are not able to get on Find A Grave very often. I was just wondering. I know others probably have busier lives than I do here on the farm. But then it can get rather hectic at times especially during our planting and harvesting time. This is our slow time of year as we only have cattle to take care of.
Have a good day and keep in touch. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Marla Murphy
