RE: Jane Davies
Oops. I see you've already found Herbert Davies' death certificate. For some reason, it lists his year of birth as 1905, but he was actually born in 1911, which is why he wasn't enumerated with the family in the 1910 US Census.

Davies Family, Columbus
Thankyou very much for the lovely photograph of Jane (Hughes) Davies on the occasion of her hundredth birthday.

I would be very happy to transfer the memorials of this family to your care if you like.

RE: Jane Davies

He's definitely buried with them, and the cemetery records list John Davies as his father. I located a copy of Herbert's death certificate online that also lists John and Jane (Hughes) Davies as his parents. They have the year of birth wrong, but the age (7 m, 22 d) and date of death coincide. I'd be happy to email a copy, if you like.

Not sure if you noticed Mary (Morgan) Davies, John's mother, was also interred with the group, but not his father, Richard.

John and Jane also had a daughter, Elizabeth, but since she lived to adulthood and married, I suspect you already have information about her.

Sorry the headstones are so difficult to read. They're granite and generally in good condition, but the brown coating in and around the engraving is badly degraded. Also, the light was very harsh. If I can find the plot again, I'll try to get better photos.
