|elsalu||Ray Cox/Albert Raymond Cox|
I am wondering if the Ray Cox you have, #5012468,
is the Albert Raymond Cox #123749901, as the person
who has Albert has no grave pic. The 1920 census
for Greensfork, Indiana has Albert R Cox with wife
Eva J, that matches as the name of his second wife,
mother of his two daughters Dorthy and Blanche. I
will write the person who has Albert Raymond and see
if that is the same as your Ray. Genealogy is so
much fun trying to fit the right person is......
Thank you so much for doing the picture and other
leg work, I live in Oregon and am really happy all
of you volunteers are out there. Keep up the good

|Barry Michie||John Lear Memorial in Martin Cem., Darke County, Ohio|
Thanks much for transferring the memorial for John Henry Lear to me without my asking. Had quite a time straightening out the documentation for him and his wife - including and alternate spelling of his surname he appears to have used for a period in his life.
I've developed the memorial with references and a bit of his family history.
Again, thanks much

|Gayle Cooper||Theodore Harrison Morris|
Hi there, my cousins and I have been attempting to identify records for Theo Morris' father, Jacob Hampton Morris. Find a Grave indicates that his mother and father were both born in Ohio. Our records indicate that both parents were born in PA. We are thinking that our problems with finding earlier records on Theo's parents are because we have their birth states wrong. Could you please let me know how it was determined that Theo's parents were both born in Ohio.

|cataholic4ever||Lisbon Cem VS New Lisbon Cem|
Hi, I was wondering if you could help me?
I have an ancestor it looks like in two cemeteries? LOL
I thought he was in Lisbon cemetery (someone provided me with a grave stone photo)
Now, though someone showed me a memorial for him in NEW Lisbon cemetery with your photo.
It's the same stone, but I am confused as to which cemetery now he is in??
1) Memorial# 35869809
2) Memorial# 83556693
I'm guessing you walked the cemetery??
I don't know why he would have the same stone in two different cemeteries.
This is why I hate cemeteries with such darn similar names! :)
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me on this.
Have a great day!

My 2nd great grandfather, Jule S. Parin is buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles, OH. You created the record in Nov. of 2009. On that you have his father as Nichlos Parin and mother as Mary Barlote. I was wondering how you discovered they were Jule's parents. I haven't been able to find that information previously.

Buried at Green Park, Portland, Jay Co, IN. Do you have the record book of the preacher who did her funeral? If so, would it be possible to get a scan of title page of that book and the page where he has notes about her and the infants? Thank you in advance. Lorraine Doty

|Karen Rathe||RE: Isaac Slade info on find-a-grave|
Thanks for your info. Sounds like we are distant cousins; Isaac and Eliza were siblings of Larkin, my ggf Isaac's father.
My grandmother did not have much of a relationship with her father ; he did not raise her. He and his siblings must have had a difficult time after their parents, Larkin and Rachel, both died in their 40s. Isaac was institutionalized at least twice, I have seen - at the Oregon State Hospital (mental) and Good Samaritan Hospital (described as "invalid"). We are sorry our mom and uncle did not now their grandfather; he died when they were in their 20s, but never met him.
We appreciate the info about him very much on Find-a-Grave; thank you again. I am from Portland; perhaps I will stop by and visit and clean up that cemetery when I am there visiting my brothers.

Thank you so very much for the wonderful display on Find-a-Grave on Isaac Slade; he was my great-grandfather. Are you also related to him? Is so, I would love to share family history information.
His daughter Lucy Slade Johnson (Mrs. Samuel) was my maternal grandmother.
