Mr. Walker's memorial has been recreated and updated to include his obituary. I mistakenly deleted the earlier memorial on which you had left a flag. I thought you might want to add something to the newly created memorial. Sorry for the inconvenience. Alma

Faulkner Babies
At your request, I linked three babies buried in Bennington Cemetery with their parents, Cephus Monroe Faulkner and his wife, Ethel Hardisty Faulkner. I cannot imagine the heartbreak of losing three children.

Faulkner Relative
Warren,

It has occurred to me that you are THE Warren that my family has mentioned as being a distant relative who once came over to the Texas/Oklahoma area and visited with relatives here. I recently received a Charles Faulkner Geneology record. You may already have it, but if you do not, let me know and I will send it to you. It was from my cousin Diane.

Faulkner Family
Hi Warren,

I am a new member of Find a Grave. I noticed that my grandparent's links need to be updated and will pull together the info for the other family members that do not appear linked to them. It shows 2 children and they had 9. Only 2 are still living at this time so the others may be located in Find a Grave but not linked. I will do the research and get that information to you.

Stephen Agustus "Gus" Murphy.
i am Dorene Kulbeth Loveall. I am trying to find and link together as many descendants of Our Kulbeth family that I can find. Can you tell me if the following children of Gus and Mamie have memorials in Find A Grave? If so, do you have a Find A Grave # for them? Raymond Augustus Murphy; James Robert Murphy; and Paul E Murphy. Thank you for all the memorials I have found that were made by you. Finding them adds data to fill in some blanks in my family records. Dorene

Warren,
Thanks so much for the heads up on the birth date. I thought I had gone back and corrected those, but still must have missed a few. I don't know why that typo is so common for me. Now a message pops up and tells you, but early on we were on our own. I am so grateful to everyone who has let me know when they find one.

Regards,
Rita

Thanks Warren, I appreciate the information.
Just knowing there were other headstones means
it is worth checking out.

Spring Hill Cemetery, Bryan Co, OK
Hi Warren,
I have some distant relatives who I have been
told were buried in Spring Hill Cemetery in Wade, Bryan, OK. It is about a 3 hour drive from our home, and I haven't made it down there to verify that they actually are there.

I just looked at your entries and photos for the Faulkner family in that cemetery, and it appeared to be rather sparse on tombstones. Did
you see many other stones than what appear in your photos? I am specifically looking for Greens buried there in 1907 and 1942.

Anything you could tell me would be a help.

a link for you...
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~treasures/pa/franklin/metal/lowerpath.htm

this is interesting in that it does NOT show OUR Alexander and Mary Walker. it shows AN Alexander and Mary, but they are later. there are also several of those you requested that are NOT listed. however, there are a couple listed that I must have missed. just didn't find your Ramsey. and *perhaps* the Samuel Walker that is listed with similar dates, tho not the same, is yours after all!?! I did get a photo of a Samuel Walker d. 1831. but I swear it says he died at 16 years. I'll send it to you and let you be the judge.

Lower Path Valley Cemetery, PA
Hi Warren... I visited the Lower Path Valley Cemetery today, on our way home from a family trip with my husband. I was also looking for MY ancestors, Alexander and Mary Walker, and while there, decided to answer whatever Find-a-Grave requests I could find while we were there. unfortunately... we didn't find that many. we arrived rather late in the day. the sun was quite low in the sky and behind the graves making it difficult to read already almost unreadable gravestones. and we didn't have long before sunset, to search the cemetery which is not that small. I never did find Alexander and Mary. I got a pic of the plaque which says that he and his family donated the land for the cemetery and the church and subsequent churches. will be happy to share that with you if you'd like. if that is not already posted here (I didn't check just now). I just went thru and "claimed" the photo requests that I know I got for sure. I got several Walker graves that may or may not be of interest to you that are not on your list. I can send them to you by e-mail if you'd like. I never found the Ramsey grave either. I am sorry it was not more successful. I won't say they weren't there, tho both my husband and I were doing our best to look... but we didn't find them on this trip. perhaps someone else will have more luck at another time!?!

Donna Butler Sheaffer
Roy, Grace and Lorry Walker
You are right. Grace married Laureate (Lorry) Walker in 1909. When he died in 1943, she married Roy P. Walker and he is the son of Samuel N. and Nancy Zimmerman Walker. I have the obits of all three. I have to admit that having the three of them on one stone could throw you off. It was originally thought that Roy & Lorry were brothers and that Lorry never married so they put him on the stone since they were apparantly living together. One of Lorry's relatives gave me the wrong info and I thought that what she said was right till I dug a little deeper. If you have any questions, please contact me. You can get me directly at butlerdona@aol.com as sometimes messages don't always get forwarded from Find A Grave. Donna
