RE: Mary Giese
No problem, especially the ones out of state--I'll be glad to see them. Would you please let me know which you've added photos to, so I can be sure to see them? Thanks much! Going to bed now . . . have a great night!

Mary Giese
83368663 Spelled, "Giese," not Geise." I'm not related to the Giese, or the Stengel families, though, unless you count distantly by marriage.

Hmm . . . more confusion . . .
Mary Elisabeth Giese's memorial notes her maiden name as, "Balzer." I have management, but I did not originally enter that memorial, so I don't know where the info came from, or if it's correct. Maybe, our cousin in Colorado will know . . .

I see--that explains it . . . sort of. Still find it odd that she would have her maiden name on the stone and not Opper. Thanks for your help!

RE: Mary K Opper
Thanks for the info! In my photos, it does look like M.P., but you're right--I confirmed by doing a rubbing--it is M.E. I'm curious how the mother died with the last name Giese, and not Opper, though . . . the family history gets complicated, I know.

RE: Mary K Opper
Thanks, I'd appreciate it! You might like to see the photos on Mary K. Opper's memorial--it's # 79824076 Do you happen to know her mother's name? Her initials (first and middle) were M. P.

Mary Katherine Opper
I was perusing the Opper family tree you have online. I noticed that the birth and death dates for Mary Katherine Opper (buried Granville Cemetery, Granville, IL) put her at a little over 1 year, 4 months at time of death. However, her gravestone is inscribed with age 3 years, 4 months, and 15 days at time of death. The dates of death are the same. Could you please tell me your source for her date of birth? Thank you very much!
