Gurney, son of Lonnie & Roxie Reavis
Josh, I have information on the oldest son of Lonnie Houston Reavis and Roxanna Lou Lefler Reavis. I have his burial location but cannot attach his parents to his. I don't find a way to leave a message for the person maintaining it. Do you have a way to add a note to Lonnie and Roxie's pages?

How are you connected to them?

I am a descendant of John Martin buried in the Martin cemetery in Parke County, Indiana. Can you tell me where you got Peter for his middle name? Thanks.

Dicy Newton
Thank you for sending the parental links. She is not part of my research. I just happened to take the photo on one of my visits there. I went back to add the plot information when I realized I don't think her husband is buried there. Although the name T Y Newton is in the Oakwood database, I think it documents her and not her husband. So the info for T Y Newton being buried there from Find A Grave member is most likely not accurate.
Regards,
Danna

Correction...I think I dropped some of my message...reading over it now it seems disjointed. Joel Mayhew was John Houston Mayhew's Uncle. His father was John Jefferson Mayhew....the brother's both had son whom they gave the middle name of Houston to. Sorry for the confusion

I have updated the site of John Houston Mayhew...he was the son of John Jefferson Mayhew ...Joel Mayhew was John's father and had a son, Joel Houston Mayhew...the birth and death dates are slightly different....I have posted John Houston Mayew's death certificate on the site so you can ck it out.

Della Thelma Reavis Fisher and Maultrie Ludiwick Fisher
Josh,
Thank you for the transfer of Della and Luke (ML)'s pages to me. I noticed you manage the one for Lonnie Houston Reavis, Della's father. Are you connected to Lonnie and Roxie Lefler Reavis?
Thanks again,
Susan

Hi Josh.

Parks --> Dora Lowthorp --> Lloyd Cashion --> My Mom --> Me.

I will check out your work. I've a large-ish tree on Ancestry.com ("Ancestry of Ava, Luke, & Soren Suleske"). I'm not currently paying for service, but may change that at some point to do some additional work. I've found that in the past couple of years since I was last active, there has been an explosion of new information available.

Thanks again!

J L Phillips
RE: Roy Moore
Hi Josh,

I uploaded a photo and then realized that it was of Jr who died in 1981, not the father who died after his son in 2003 and whom you had requested. I had to leave the cemetery but went back today. Only Jr. and mother Sara Eloise are marked there. I asked the cemetery director for the plot number for Sr who died in 2003, and that's the plot number he gave me (W 6). So now I don't know what to do. He may be there but be unmarked. So sorry for the false alarm of a photo. I will go back and ask again probably to make sure I have the right plot. I re-requested a photo just in case. Joanna Phillips.

Bob Carter
RE: Bob McAdams
Thanks Josh!

Bob was a great guy . . .humble, a servant of God, and friendly. He and I got to know each other after I wrote a rebuttal letter in the local newspaper to a fellow named "Bob Carter" who said you couldn't be a Christian and a Republican so I asked him to come to our church and see we are all children of God, not just Democrats. He knew I didn't write the original letter but told me my response was on target and we always joked about the other Bob.

He's one of those men who once you knew him you knew you had a friend for life. Too bad we don't have more men like him these days.

Bob
