john brown
Yes I did have the wrong John Brown . I think I have that part correct now. Now I have to see if I can find out where he is buried now. I have worked on it for about 3 hours. I could not find the notes I had. so did a lot of search the web. I don't have time to get Nancy George Brown worked out yet. Right now I do not have the time but will try to work on it as time permits .
Thank you,
Judy (Essen) Wilson

Your suggestion

Your suggestion:

The link for Hattie as a spouse of William H Mahanay (Find A Grave Memorial# 74683836) should be removed. Hattie Moore was never married to William H Mahanay. William H Mahanay is buried with and correctly linked to his wife Suzanna "Anna" M Hill Mahanay.

Response:

Apparently who ever now manages William added this as I am unable to remove him as spouse , please contact them .
Thanks Jarrortt

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 113292861
Hello
I have looked at the memorial, and I understand how this happened. The designation of "sibling" or "half-sibling" is an automatic feature on Find a Grave and not something the contributor types onto the memorial. It is something the contributor has no control over. When you enter a link between parents and children, the children automatically show up as siblings. If only one parent is linked, and not both, the children show up as half-siblings, due to the absence of links to BOTH parent. I am the manager of Washington W. Johnson, and I entered both parents. "Buddy" is the manager of Nathan W. Johnson, and he only added a link to the father David, not the mother. "Cindy" is the manager of Susie Elizabeth Johnson Maxwell, and again, she only linked the father David but not the mother. I will send them edits to link the mother Martha which should resolve this glitch.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Not related, just researched some of the families buried in this cemetery. Thanks for additional info. I added it in her bio.

Enjoy this gorgeous Fall weather,

Good luck trying to get it corrected. I've had to contact them in the past to correct misinformation and incorrect cemetery names. It's not easy, but drive me a bit nuts to just let it go.

Thanks for your efforts.

This is a true pickle, for sure. The photos I took are definitely from the Allen Cemetery on Rt 53. There are two Allen headstones there, which I added. The site had already been created in Find A Grave when I added the photos, so I just added to it since it was the correct name and location. I also do not know who combined the two cemeteries and don't know where the other one is located, as I've never been there.

Whoever created the original site for the Rt 53 Allen Cemetery seems to have erred in it's location and name and then combined them. Unfortunately, I can't help with that. Perhaps you can contact Find A Grave and request they separate them and then the 'owners' of the memorials can update accordingly. Just a suggestion.

I'll have to check on this to see if I am able to change anything since I didn't create it. Somehow, it should be corrected.

Elisha Wheeler
Thank you for your info. I took this picture of Amanda Wheeler at the Anderson Cemetery in Tennessee, I had it posted in Wheeler Cemetery and Anderson Cemetery. Wheeler by mistake. I have deleted that one but Amanda is still on the Anderson site. Also there was s stone that stated Wife Of Elisha and I am pretty sure it was on that stone. I am a Wheeler descendent and in fact Elisha was a 4th uncle. Grandson of John Wheeler. John was my 5th grandfather. I am the granddaughter of Matt Wheeler of Granville, Tennessee so I have put a lot of work into my tree but any info you can give me I will take a look at.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 100807556 Joseph P Duckett
He is listed as Joseph P. Duckett in the Anderson County book. Further checking at several of the public family trees at ancestry.com, he is listed as Joseph Pancoat Duckett. The middle name was either sent to me by a contributor, or I added it from the other family trees.

Karen,
I removed the phrase from the posting in case it is incorrect. I got the information from a copy of the cemetery records, but I did find a couple of other mistakes also.

Info update
Hello Karen,
Thank you so very much for taking the time to make my memorial to Edward Robinson Anderson correct. You're right about my assumption. I always add information about siblings, should I decide to add them later. Glad to see people are actually reading what I am writing. Don't want it to be incorrect.
Sincere gratitude,
Marcia

RE: Martha Reynolds
Thank you so much for the additional information for both Martha Reynolds and her first husband John Brandon, both buried in Son's Chapel Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I have added the information on their memorials.

If you are related to this couple, I'd be happy to transfer their memorials to you. I am not related to either.

Thanks again,
-Sherryl
