I wonder if I may have your permission to use your grave marker photo on my family website. Check it out at http://freienmuth-shortridge.com/ernst/buchheim-cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

I was mistaken as well. The creator of the duplicate memorial was, in fact, you! I was helping with two other memorials that night in the same way; so I must have been confusing one of those memorials with Glenn's. I happened to look in my spam folder just now though and found the copy of the email I had sent to you and Mr. Habben. That's the only FindAGrave email that has ever been sent to my spam folder so I have no idea how it made it's way there; but it did. The info in it though confirmed that you were the creator of the duplicate file for Glenn; so that mystery is now settled! lol I've transferred management of Glenn's memorial to you now; and I'm sure that you will continue in your efforts to give it the care it deserves. Have a wonderful day!! :)

I believe Mr. Habben was mistaken when he posted that message to your wall. The true duplicate was held by someone with the a 3 letter ID (BRS?) but when I contacted that person and Mr. Habben for some reason the system did not produce copies of the emails to my own box even though I had checked the option.
I was working in two windows simultaneously to send the exact same message to both parties. I added both memorials to a hidden virtual grave but the duplicate was deleted and the link to that memorial was redirected to the memorial that was left -- the one Mr. Habben created. (The flower I left on the duplicate memorial was also added to Mr. Habben's memorial; so the combination of the two memorials was probably the result of an action taken by FindAGrave.) But in any case I could no longer see the ID of the person that had created the duplicate.
I believe since the bio that was on the memorial Mr. Habben created had a link to your ID profile that this was why Mr. Habben contacted you. I've contacted him to see if he kept the email that was sent to him from my original message informing him of the duplicate; but I've not heard back from him yet. It seemed that the person who created the duplicate was probably family (or at least friend) as they put a good deal of effort into creating links to family member memorials. However I have no clue now as to how to reach that person. If you know of another user that is family and has a 3 letter user ID that is probably the person I'm looking for.
Mr. Habben passed management of the memorial to me by mistake since I was trying to help with the obituary; but I want to find a family member who has a vested interest in improving the memorial so that they can take it over. Connecting family with family is what FindAGrave is all about and I want to help keep that spirit alive. Do you know of any contributor with a 3 letter ID resembling BRS? If so they might be family too and could even be of closer relation than yourself. If so I would like to find out.

Are you a family member of Glenn Albert Richmond #9407544? I noticed that you either contributed to and/or hold management of his memorial and those of his family members.

Your entry for Glenn Richmond is a duplicate of my entry, #9407544 which I made in 2004. Also, "anonymous" copied my photo of the grave to place on your entry. I know you didn't do that, but I'm really getting tired of people stealing my photos.
Unless you are family, I would be happy to enter your information on my entry, and request you delete your duplicate.

Do you know who might have put the plaques on Berryman Jones grave in San Pierre, Indiana. My mother and I visited there today. I'd like to thank whoever did so.

Thank you for all your pictures. I am descended from Thomas Jones. I was unaware his grave was only a county away. I hope to take my mom out there to find it in San Pierre this spring.

You maintain a memorial for Thomas Allen (38658157) in Asher Cemetery, Owen Co., Ind.
I found a family tree that showed his father as Isaac Allen (1764- )and wife Elizabeth (Rush) (1771-1848). It showed Elizabeth as buried in Old Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Unfortunately it did not have a location for the cemetery. Find a grave does not show an Old Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Owen Co. There is a Shiloh cemetery but I do not know if that is the same. I was just wondering if you are familiar with that co. Can you help me.

You have several entries for the Wilder Cemetery for the Karn family that are duplicates of previous entries by someone else. Can you please try to get these memorials combined together to eliminate the duplication of records on these family members? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

|Judy Cassidy||Lambert Darland, Todd Cemetery|
Thank you so much for posting the information for the Todd Cemetery and Lambert Darland. I had only a few photos and none for Lambert, however, I did for his son Abraham also buried here. The only other stone is for John Smock, with whom they traveled from Mercer or Anderson County, Kentucky. So I added that photo as well as a map showing the location in the Township and how to actually find the Todd Cemetery which is rather difficult.
I would have added Abraham to the list of children, but couldn't figure out how to do that.

I figured that was what you were doing, it does mess up the search, and no one thinks of that! ;-)
Put all that info in the bio area, then folks that are looking will see it.
Thanks for the nice note!
