Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph my uncle's tombstone. I live in Colorado now and no longer get back to Palacios. It means a lot to me to have this photo!

|Nancy Harris||Joseph Queen photo|
Thank you so much, Mary, for taking the time to get a photo of of Joe's tombstone. It looks wonderful. It also answers the question of where his wife and son Herbert are! I was surprised that there was not a memorial for them. So I made one and maybe you can add the same photo to their memorial. I will attach the request to an edit button hopefully to make it easier for you. Thanks again,

Thanks so much for the info you provided for the above 3 people. I have edited the memorials. From the info you gave me, it seems that Elmer's spouse was Clura. I have also made this change and it is being reviewed. If I am wrong, please let me know.
I would be glad to transfer these memorials to you. Just let me know.

This was a photo that I volunteered to take. I tried to find a number for the church (located on the same property) but I am not having any luck. The Newton Union Cemetery at 641 792 7116 may be able to tell you who to contact for information about a stone at Mt Zion. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Uploaded pics of her tombstone (125293085). Beautiful little stone to be so old. I was following up on some of my items in suspense & noted you had established her memorial. Thanks & God bless.

Hi Mary Ann,
I also added pictures for a few other Tompkins that were buried in the same plot and may have added a few new family members (my memory's not what it used to be). Hope these are helpful.
I'll be glad to transfer if you're interested.

are you familiar with the following website: http://www.fultonhistory.com/Fulton.html
It's a free website.
The title is misleading because it covers Auburn, Syracuse, Camillus, Cato , Binghamton , etc. You can search for your relatives and see if you can find any interesting info. there. Just make sure you put their names in quotation marks and include a year. Good luck

|af||RE: Phebe Tompkins|
I photographed the entire cemetery when I was there and all photos have been posted. Many stones were too worn to read. I am sending you the note about the cemetery which explains what has happened to some stones:
Cemetery notes and/or description:
Wheeler Cemetery a/k/a Harmon Cemetery Camillus, North St. (partially removed to Maplewood Cem)
Inactive neighborhood Cemetery
It's possible that they were moved to Maplewood.
