Could you add your marker picture from memorial #122592235 to memorial #13188393? Thank you.

I am no relation but found the funeral pamphlet for her so I looked her up and found the 13188393 memorial first.

OOPS I didn't mean to jump your claim there. Betty Yake's sister Evylen Heins was my wife's grandmother. I wasw just linking some family members together for her. I don't know if I told you or not but my wife, Jamie, is Mike Hedrick's daughter.

Hey Loretta,
Wow, that was fast. I just added him an hour ago. I see you put his wife's photo on her page too. I think I forgot to request hers. Thanks a lot.

Hi Loretta,

That is fine. I have just been putting what war they were in and veteran (WWII VETERAN OR CIVIL WAR VETERAN) in the obit sec. at the top.
So anyone looking at the memorial can immediately see.

Thanks for your help.

Loretta: I got out Feb. 1,2005, after just shy of 28 years service. They offered an "early out" to Level 18 and below postmasters and I took it!!

Thanks so much for taking the photos of Ruth's marker. I straightened out the pictures too. My bad not listing it as a person when I created the page. Once again, thank you.

RE: My stone
In a certain sense, we are ALL already passed on...and yet again, we haven't been born yet...we are HERE, always. Tomorrow's "always", Ten years from now's "always", and so on. We never truly die. We are a dream in God's heart that briefly appears in the flesh then returns into His eternal memory...There is no reason to fear death...unless you have never really LIVED. Peace to you my friend.

Thankfully I didn't see your stone...I might've had a heart attack! I didn't know people put up stones BEFORE they passed!

I went to 7 Cemeteries this week with my relatives. I saw this grave and just took a picture for no particular reason. Wasn't sure who they were. After I got home I just decided to see if the photo was needed and then posted it. I had no idea why I just randomly did that, but I guess there truly are NO "coincidences". I'm glad especially that I could do something for YOU, Loretta,(even if accidental!)after all the encouragement you've given me. :)

Thanks, Loretta! I have just finished adding photos for all the stones we found when we photographed the cemetery a few years ago. Still did not find all of them.

So nice of you to read my message to Julie and respond. I really wanted to make contact with Julie since we have shared kin Asceal and Ann Brookover, but was not able to. My husband and I made a visit to the Brookover Cemetery in June. It was terribly over grown and scary. We did not know if it was on private property or not, so we knocked on the door of the house to the west of it but no one answered. Were you born and raised in that area? I have seen your name associated with many Find a Grave sites and appreciate all you and others have done.

Take care
Kathy Trinder

Hi Loretta - first of all - thank you for all of your good work.. I was wondering if you or others come across a grave for George Elmore Nance 1801-1880 living in Lawrence, Missouri or possibly Carroll. If I could get a picture or info, that would be fantastic. Thank you. Brenda Nance DeLong

The Glace Cemetery you mentioned, I believe Ruben Glaze's father was Matthias Glaze 1810-1885 and is buried there. I have been researching the Glaze and Maxwell families. Maggie Fensom went to be a servant to William Maxwell Ruben's son in law, when she was 15 in Carollton, Missouri. Then they all moved to Emporia , Kansas. She was with them for 12 years, 1917 till 1929, and since she is buried next to Ruben Glaze, I've been researching them for any clues of her. I've found where all are buried except Jennie Hopkins-Maxwell, it is said she died October 31, 1926 in Kansas, but no documentation to back that up. And Maggie taking her own life on October 31, 1929. Thought I would share as a thank you for all you have done, I so appreciate having her marker. And hoping to one day have her story.

Since you have a book maybe see if Mildred Allene Fenson ( could be Fenson or Fensom) she was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery November 1st 1918, she was 4 months and 9 days old, she died October 31 1918. She was niece to Maggie.Maybe couldn't afford a marker.
And, because you poster Ruben Glaze's marker ( no relation to Maggie she was a house maid to them) I have made the connection that the Maxwell Family and Glazes she was a servant to were related by Jennie Maxwell being Kate Glaze's daughter, and step daughter to Ruben, sorry going on here.

Thanks again...Sarah

Hi Loretta, There is no connection between Maggie and Ruben Glaze, except she was a servant to the Maxwell family and, then to Glaze Family. I show both families in Kansas.
I was hoping there was a stone close by of Mildred Allene Fenson. But very happy to see she was buried by him, going to research and see what I can find.

Thank you again!

Loretta, this is your Find A Grave friend Kathy Mesa. I noticed you left virtual flowers on my great grandmother's grave (Minnie Lee Young-Bryant) #130656446. Is she related to you? I certainly wouldn't mind finding out that you and I are related!
