You submitted a photo for the Find A Grave memorial of John Allen from a book, he was buried in Oakland, IA. Could you please give me the title of that book, the author, and year the book was published?
I would appreciate that very much, I thought you would have the book or borrowed it from library.

Would you please correct the spelling of my great grandmother's maiden name? It is memorial #29019523. Her name was Effie May Overturff Mechem. It is spelled correctly on the tombstone. Overturff with 2 F's.

|Richard K Thompson||James Riley Davis memorials|
A "merge" of the two memorials would not be appropriate. The memorial made in 2010 was made because his memorial inscription on the reverse side of his parent's headstone didn't clearly indicate that he was actually buried in Texas. I didn't have any reason to believe otherwise at the time I made that memorial. Since you manage both memorials (I transferred the one I made to you upon your request), you can request that the F/A/G administrators mark the memorial at Abingdon cemetery as a "Centataph", while keeping the one in Texas for his physical burial. To delete the memorial at Abingdon cemetery after it was transferred to you by me would be against F/A/G guidelines, since it was made in good faith.

I saw the photograph of Elmer that you posted on his memorial page. I was wondering if you are a relative of his. His mother, Margaret Frisch was the sister of my GGG grandfather, Fred Frisch. I have some photos of the Frisch family if you're interested.
I look forward to hearing from you!

|Kajyal||John Hale died 1856|
In the Mars Hills Cemetery you have added a picture of a tombstone for another John Hale who died in 1872 after I left a bio for the one born 1788, died 1856. I think it likely the tombstone for the John who died in 1856 has been destroyed. It was only half there many years ago, broken & in pieces. The picture you entered is of his son's tombstone.

|Delores W. Roe||Agency cemetary Agency, Iowa|
Hi Linda, I have been going through the burials in Agency, Iowa cemetary, trying to find the oldest burial,on the cemetary site.
The reason is my great great grandmother Mary Miller Ruckman is supposed to be laid to rest there in Agency cemetary.
It says this on the Iowa cemetry records, that I have researched.
Anyhow I have been trying many ways to find Mary's cemetary stone in Agency cemetary . From what I have been told by folks in the cemetary record board, there is an old section, and a new section. My great great grandmother Mary Miller Ruckman died in 1863, in Agency, there are other Ruckman who are buried there too. I have a list of them from another researcher or cemetary poster of names, Mary Lanigan.
My problem is no one can tell me if old cemetary stones exist in Agecny cemetary. I saw this picture for one of your folks, it looks very old and I see other old stones sitting upright and
standing some leaning in the back ground of your photo. Have you been to the Agency cemetary yourself? If so can you tell me anything about the old part? It looks like some of the old stones are in good condition.
I have made two request for a photo of Mary Miller Ruckman stone on Find a Grave. So far no response, last year and this year.
Can you help me with information. Very grateful for any.
