RE: St. Michaels Cemetery
Bill,
No problem, glad to do it. I'll keep the name on my list and whenever I get out there again, I'll take a comparable shot to yours, so you can really see the changes. There are now several sections beyond that one. I've always wondered what the area was before it became St. Mikes. For a cemetery, it's got the softest ground I've ever seen!

RE: St. Michaels Cemetery
Bill,
I've posted the photo I took of the Herman stone. I hadn't noticed your unveiling shot from '56 when I took it (had only looked at the Mogilski page), so I didn't know to get a wider shot for a "then and now" contrast. I'd be glad to take one next time I'm out there, if you'd like. I'm out there frequently, so it's no problem. If, for any reason, you don't care for the shot I posted, just let me know and I'll be glad to delete.

St. Michaels Cemetery
Bill,
Hi! I'm doing some documentation work at St. Mikes and, in the process, took a current picture of Horace Herman's gravestone. I would be glad to add it to his and Anne Mogilski's pages, but since you hadn't requested the photo, wanted to check w/ you before I butted in somewhere I haven't been asked! The stone is unchanged from the pic you've posted (I assume from 1956? It was fascinating for me to compare then and now.), but the surrounding area has grown up and the location is really lovely now. If you'd like to see the pic before deciding, I'd be glad to email it to you. If you're interested, I'd also be glad to get a comparable shot to one you've posted (wider than the one I took) showing the small tree the stone is currently under. Just let me know how/if you want to proceed. And my apologies if I've presumed here. Best of intentions meant!
