|Kay Williams||Elizabeth Eaton Curry|
Do you happen to know where Marvin Curry's wife Elizabeth Eaton Curry (b 19 Mar 1878) is buried? I thought she may be buried close to Marvin Curry but cannot find evidence of that. Thanks for any help you can provide. Kay Williams

I've been trying to determine if this William Bird is my relative. There are two grave markers for William Bird at the Byrd Cemetery, Newton County, GA. This one shows his parents as Tom and Martha Bird (Ga. Death Certificate.) However, the parents of William Bird, related to me, are Thomas and Eveline Bird. I can't seem to determine of these two William Bird (s) are one and the same or two different people. Hope you have some info that could help. Thanks, Joyce Byrd Slaughter

You're welcome, it's an enjoyable pastime for me, and the stones do indeed enhance the record and provide confirmation and/or information.

You're welcome. The cemetery office was great to work with and we went out and found the grave together. He said it wasn't unusual for the wife not to have a marker.

I'll upload the Nancy Combs grave marker, hard to read, but here is what I made out:
Died Dec 27 1898
Aged 75Y. 3M. 15D.
MOTHER TO MRS BM RUPE
I live in SC, so 900+ mile drive. I plan to go back to MO in fall or winter and will take another look, plus Alexander Ware. I'm going to try the YouTube method of rubbing white flour on the stone, and bring out the detail text.

To get your request for a photo of this person at Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia, California it would help if you could call the cemetery and obtain the grave location and add that information to your request, or message me with the location.
They are very busy but they do respond to requests but you might have to leave them your email or telephone number so that they can contact you with the grave location at a time to suit their work schedule.
Their number is (626) 359-5311

I have looked for Mary Todd and not found her. I went over the weekend again but the cemetery office was closed. I will go back when they are open. They are usually glad to help you locate a headstone. They mowed recently and a lot of the flat stones got covered up so hopefully I just missed it.

I also added photos for Frank Todd Jr, Rebecca Todd Black (they were buried on either side of Frank and Joanna), and Benjamine L. Todd (he was in the same section but not by the others). I thought I would mention it in case you are interested in them also. I will go back and look for Mary Todd. It was getting dark last night and the section she is in is pretty large!

I must have missed that.
I don't know about you, (I know what ancestry says), but in our family, the husband of the great-aunt is the great-uncle!! :)))

Jacob Blacklidge and Charlotte Neville were my fourth great-grandparents.
It's nice to meet a relative!
I noticed that you gave a floral tribute to Jacob that called him, "aunt," probably an oversight. :)

I have been on ancersity.com but I may have let my grace period expire but I will try to get back on it I am also working with family search the LDS web link and have found a lot of information there. I would like to get in touch with some of the family Sam and Mary McDaniel because I lost touch with them in the 1970's My dad Adolph talked a lot about Sam and Mary and the last time I saw Uncle Sam was I 1940 when he came to visit dad and mom. I am now 86 years old and trying to finish the family tree. I have some information on the family back to 1775 in Weisswasser Germany. I have been touch with some of the members of Matthaeus Kneschk's sister's family in Germany. They were Windish and not German The family arrived in New Orleans in 1877.Eddie Wolsch, a decendent of Augusta Kneschk and August Wolsch, and I have working on the family for some time. Hope I haven't bored you too much. Norman
