Amy Gertrude Wilkerson
I am the Grand daughter of Amy Gertrude Wilkerson. I have informed Find A Grave that her listed death date is incorrect and have asked for a correction. It was 1918, not 1913. I now turn my attention to you and would like to know why you have a flashing Icon of your name on her burial listing. Can I get you to remove this please. Thank you very much. Joanne O'Neal

You are so welcome, Gary. I am still kicking myself for not attending the civil war event at the LCHS on Monday. I had forgotten that I was involved in Mr. Moore's Findagrave site (pictures). Would love to have seen Jesse. We are old Pine Grove graduates.

Casey cemetery
Thought you would want to know a lady from the Daughters of American Revolution in Texas has contacted our local DAR chapter requesting work and and a REV WAR Marker for Levi Casey's wife buried in this cemetery. Our DAR referred it to the cemetery committee who met today and a decision was made that the Casey cemetery is first priority due to condition of graves. A field day has been scheduled for Nov 1 and I will be there. Will try to locate and photograph your request at that time. Once the cemetery is restored I expect DAR will place a marker and possibly have a dedication ceremony. Anyone wanting more details please email me clynndel@comcast.net

In case you don't know the cemetery has been neglected it is in a remote location and access limited. A while back the cemetery was vandalized and assumed robbed due to large holes left where graves should be. Most of the headstones are broken and illegible. This cemetery was in danger of being lost. We hope to bring it back

RE: Price
I should have transfered them earlier. I like cemeteries and taking photos. Normally if I don't have a direct connection with a memorial I will transfer them if I am contacted by someone who has a connection.. These slipped by me.

RE: Grace Knight
I created the memorial for your aunt's husband and filled in what I could easily find. If you would like a transfer I would be happy to do it.
Just send me a request.

If not I'll be happy to keep it too.

Picture usage
Thank you for posting & sharing your pictures up here on Find A Grave. I have started using Grave marker photos as an additional source document, documenting my ancestors lives. May I use the photo that you have posted for Daniel & Mary J Jones Ashcraft, as well as any other family members I come across, in my personal family tree file? I will so note that they are from: Find A Grave Contributor: Gary Moore #46836362.
Thank you again for your time & effort, I do appreciate it.

I received an automated message stating that you had fulfilled the photo request. The request is no longer active. No worries at all though. I will just reopen the request.

RE: Add photo
Both husband and wife are on the same stone. There isn't a link to her on Polycarp's page.
I have, however, added the stone to her page.

Granite Falls United Methodist Church
Gary:

I went by this church today and there is NO cemetery anywhere outside the church. Are they buried inside the church in a columbarium?

Or, is there a cemetery which is off premises and maintained by this church?

Find A Grave does not have any address, location, directions, coordinates, photos, etc.

Google maps has an EXCELLENT photo of the property showing NO cemetery:

The Church is located at:
9 Lakeside Avenue, Granite Falls, NC 28630
Phone: (828) 396-1011

Please advise.
