Yes, everyone in the Horodischer Bros' Society are related...All the Grodinsky's, Smith's, Slotnicks, Hechts....etc....everyone! haaa

I had put in requests, but I reached my limit, which I guess is 20 requests a I didn't get to finish requesting people.

Thank you so much for taking the photos, I will work on creating a page for Bernard Grodinsky....

Did you take the Sam Rubin photo? I also have that one at Mount Hebron if you haven't gone yet.

Monteleone/Cavallino Photos
Hi Cristina,
I don't mean to be pushy, but I was just curious why you only fulfilled my request for Anna and not Rosario M. and Rosaria C. when visited St John's. I don't want to rush you by any means, but I am working on a surprise family history project for my parents who are arriving in 2 weeks, so I need the photos if you go to St John's again anytime soon. You take wonderful photos of headstones, so I would love it if you could get my other two requests before your claims expire.

Thank You so much, Ben

Ellen Quinn
Hi Cristina,

I am not trying to pressure you in any way, but you had claimed a photo request for Ellen Quinn, and I was just wondering if you think you will be able to fulfill it.

The photo is for the birth mother of a woman coming in from Ireland next weekend. She wants to travel by bus to Queens from Massachusetts, but are hoping that if the page is complete, than she will not make such a journey.

It is fine if you cannot get to it, but I thought it would not hurt to ask.

Thank you,

Photo of Harry A. Rapp marker
Hello Cristina,
Thank you so very much for photographing this marker for me. It is my wife's grandfather's stone. I'm at least a 4-hour drive away from this cemetery, and this is the only family stone that I didn't have a photo for. This was also my first, and so far, only photo request that I've tried for I've now pretty much completed putting all our families markers with photos on the site.
Thanks again,
Dan Phelan

Kopsick @ St John Cemetery
Hi ! Thanks so much for your volunteer work. However, there seems to be a picture of a stone you posted on my family's site that is not theirs :) If you have a chance, could you find the rightful owner of this and take off of Konstance Kopsick's profile? Thanks & Happy Holidays
ps I see you were from CALI-I am in Sacramento!

RE: Glenn Wallace
No worries. It took my parents several visits to the office to confirm there was in fact no stone. They are confident they found the right spot, however. I should have told them to photograph the spot itself. When I"m up for THanksgiving, I'll go do it now that they know where the site is.

RE: Glenn Wallace
So we do not have good news. My parents spent several hours in Rosedale today. Evidently, there is no marker or monument to Glenn. After several back-and-forths, the front office confirmed this. If only the office had given you and them a heads-up sooner. Just to make sure they had the right person - did he die/have burial 5 Dec 2009?

Hi, haven't forgotten about you. I didn't make it up there, but my mom is doing it this week.

Helfrich and Deegan photo requests at St. John Cemetery
Thanks so much for claiming these photo requests! Please read Gustav Helfrich's memorial page which gives some information about some others buried in the same family plot. There are 23 names according to the cemetery office. They didn't read off all the names for me, but did give me all the Helfrich names and a few of the others. I would greatly appreciate if you could make note of the other names in the plot besides the ones I made requests for. I don't know much about the others and hope to figure out the relations to my kin Bertha Schultz Helfrich.
