RE: Photo request at Moravian cemetery
Thanks for looking at this for me. If you are going again I have a diagram of the graves and who is in them the cemetery provided me which might be useful to estimate where people are. Thanks

Photo request at Moravian cemetery
Hi Cristina, I noticed you claimed a photo request I put in at Moravian for henrietta degroot. I am pretty sure there is no headstone there but if possible a photo of the general grave site for the degroots would be much appreciated. I think the site is identifiable by a headstone for a Fred Mullick and another for a Henry Schott. Someone else took photos of those headstones but not the general site for those entries buried nearby. Thanks for your time if you're able to do it

Van Siclen @ Maple Grove Cemetery
Thank you so much for uploading the picture of the gravestone of James Van Siclen, who is buried at Maple Grove. And I thank you also for taking photos of the gravestone of the other two buried there- they are James's parents. I will go ahead and make tributes for them as well, so you can upload the pictures.

Thank you again! I truly appreciate your kindness.

Jeannie

Emma Armstrong Field- Flushing Cemetery
Thank you so much for the beautiful picture taking.

Could you tell me if there is a stone for Emma, or is that why Mortimer's is on her memorial page?

I am VERY delayed sending this thank you note. My mom fell & broke her pelvis in late February and I was with her for about 3 weeks. I also was/am dealing with medical issues myself....thus compounding things for me! I have also had some personal issues to deal with. All of those things caused and my genealogy correspondence to fall apart. I am just getting back on track.....finally!

I am so sorry that my thanks were not prompt but please know that my appreciation is very heartfelt. The photos that you took for me went above and beyond. I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful job you did. Bravo!!

Thanks a million,
Gail

Ludwig site
Christina,
Thanks so much for going to the Ludwig/Miller
site at St John's. It looks like I have another relative (Joseph Ludwig) to research. Who could have know that there was no monument.

Thanks again

St John photo
Cristina, I am happy that you claimed my photo request at St John. I also have a husband and wife at All Faiths Lutheran across the street and am wondering if you would be willing to get those also? I have a grave location. If you can not, it is OK. I felt that it never hurts to ask.

Thanks, Gail

Christina,

I want to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to take a picture of my grandfathers and grandmothers tombstone.I did not even know that a little Raffaelle had died in 1909.The pictures are beautiful.

Holy Cross Cemetery ~ Ruscovich
Hi Christina, hope all is well. Listen, we were discussing Holy Cross cemetery, some site photos I needed, but the need no longer exists. On Nov. 21st a user "evergreen" posted a photo. (And I'm not sure why, because I didn't post any new photo requests.) It's a somewhat small picture, but it will do, WAY better than the up-close original volunteer photo by "anonymous." Point being, I no longer need you to go there. Thanks anyway, for your willingness. Have a good Christmas! Rich.

RE: So helpful!
If it's possible - and if the storm(s) don't deter you, that would be great. I have no idea how difficult it is to get around in New York at the moment (post-Sandy), but the news here in Europe makes it sound very difficult. I hope you and yours came through it all without too much loss.
I believe you will find a grave for Sadie Feldman in the same area - she is buried in Block 109, -14- 6 - grave 6 (maybe she's one of the burials you remember seeing behind the large stone.
Could you also send me individual photos of the stones that read 'Ida Zaretsky" and 'Beatrice'? The Hebrew is a bit difficult to read in the long shot of the row of gravestones you sent me.
Now that your photos have shown me how cool this can be, I have yet another wish, if you're going to Mt. Hebron. These are the grave stones for Sam Kunen and his wife Gussie. They are in Block 51, 22 - P - 15 , graves 9 and 10 in the Mohilev On Dnieper Society section. Say no if I'm asking for too much of your time.

It really means a lot to me, being able to actually see the cemetery and to know that the graves are there, not forgotten and so well-cared for.

So helpful!
I want to say how helpful it is that you photographed the other gravestones nearby. You have put me on the track of four additional family members by including the long shot of the row of stones. Because you photographed the details so carefully and clearly, I'm pretty sure I can identify details I didn't know before.
I have a question, too. The large memorial stone in the background of the long shot says Feldman Rabinowitz. Am I correct in thinking that there's no additional inscription on that one? Do you remember?
Thanks very much, again.
Carola

Many, many thanks!
Dear Cristina,
Thank you so very much for the wonderful photos of my Rabinowitz ancestors' graves at Mt. Hebron. I apologize for being so slow to write, but I have been travelling for the past three weeks and couldn't find my password for Find A Grave.
The photographs are wonderfully clear, and I'm so lucky that you were able to take them before the big storm hit.
Thank you again for doing this - it is a great gift to my family.

Thanks Cristina, for the great Ruscovich volunteer photos, you're quite a good photographer. This family has a history of unmarked graves, so no surprise there. Thanks for you efforts in locating the spot properly, I'm grateful. If you ever need any Richmond, Virginia favors, give me a holler. Rich.
