Jack Rollins #48105381
Thank you so much for adding Jack's obituary to this memorial and his other memorial:
James Jackson Rollins #43952567
Since the James Jackson memorial was created in 2009, should this Jack Rollins (created 2010) be merged or deleted?
(My dad worked at Sears all over Texas with him for 20+ years, so I'd known Jack since I was born.)

RE: Ace Amos
Yes, I was also confused when I ran across these two listings and the headstone pictures while working on my cemetery transcription.

And no, I don't want you to delete your listing. I'm not related to the Amos family, so I have no preference on keeping my listing.

If you would please use "my" listing 53974575 to link James' parents/spouse, I'll add the headstones to your listing 54474992 and DELETE mine as soon as you are done. Hope that makes sense......LOL

I cannot verify anything about him. All I did was take the picture and post it on the Memorial I created for him. I do not know him and I am not related. Sorry.

Just a thank you note
Hi Joe,

I wanted to thank you for all your work & time in gathering info for so many of our loved ones. I think it's awesome.

I knew Larry Dan Westbrook. I met Larry after a Bobcat game. He was working at the Town & Country across the street from the stadium. I was a Lakeview girl & he went to Central. I would wait for my parents to pick me up at the Town & Country meanwhile I would hang out with Larry. I had hoped that he'd ask me out but that never happened. He died before that & just shattered my dream of him asking me out. I thought he was sweet & good looking.

I have lived in Calif. since 1967 and married here but have gone home to help my parents until they passed away in 2012. I always visited their graves (Tinney's) at Belvedere where Larry is also buried. I always stopped at Larry's grave to pay my respects.
So thank you so much for honoring his memory. I remember him well.

Maye's Chapel Cemetery
Joe: We were able to visit this little cemetery today, 10/13/2013 and want to thank you for posting headstone pictures back in 2008. We were not able to find J.O. Lewis (my 2nd great grandfather)'s headstone, but at least you have posted the 2008 picture. I've posted personal notes on W.S.Lewis headstone and on William Irving Cornett headstone as they were both my ancestors. Little William Irving Cornett was lovingly called "little Willie". He was my grandmothers' little brother - the only child of 9 to die young. I always wondered why they buried little Willie at this cemetery so far from his parents and siblings. Now the picture is complete - because his maternal grandfather was here. I still have little Willie's funeral memorial in a large antique frame that my grandmother had saved. My sister still has some of little Willie's toys.
Thank you again for helping us find more of our ancestors. I live in New Mexico and we were RVing in Fredericksburg and I just HAD to go to LLano to the cemetery!!!! sanuhl@att.net
