After years of dead ends and research, I think I have found a lead on Martha Ann Wilson, born April 2, 1833 and married Robert Timmons, which was the only information I had. She and 2 others were the only children of James Wilson and Easter Cobb I had no information on. Martha's brother William was my ggg grandfather. I think Martha may have been first married to a Wilson before Timmons, because on the 1870 census of Bell Co., Texas, she's listed along with her children. Anyway, my website is on my findagrave home page. Love to hear from you!

I hadn't already added John and Nancy to Wallace, Pope Co, IL so if you will transfer them there that would be great. See previous message.

John R. and Nancy Slaughter
I think we have been in contact on Ancestry.com. If so, I sent a baby photo of William Henry. John and Nancy are my 3rd gr grandparents through George and Alice. There are two Wallace Cemeteries, one in East Mountain, Saline Co, Il and the other in Hartsville, Pope, IL. I have been to the one in Hartsville and that is where John and Nancy are buried along with Alice and George and Geo's son Richard and his wife Mary. I would like to work with you. You have posted more background than I but I have pictures to add. I have entries for them at Wallace Cem, in Pope Co. but am willing to take them off if you will transfer them to the correct location. I would like you to then connect them to Alice as a daughter. When I hear from you I will give you her number.
Thank you.

John and Nancy Slaughter - Pioneer Family Sand Flat Cemetery
I wanted to pass this information on to you. I have relatives buried in the Pioneer Family Sand Flat Cemetery in Athens Texas. I went there a few weeks back and took photos of all the grave sites. There seems to be some confusion as to this cemetery and the one that is next to it (Sand Flat Cemetery). My understanding is the Sand Flat Cemetery is a black cemetery. I noticed when entering the information into the Pioneer Family on Find a Grave that you have the following listed below in the Sand Flat Cemetery. I actually viewed these and they are in the Pioneer Family Cemetery. I thought I would pass this onto you. I have entered them in the Pioneer Cemetery site on Find a Grave. The #s beside the names are from your listings.

Slaughter, John W # 19325848
Slaughter, Nancy Jane Earnest # 19325976

Photo correction
Hi Poppyseed!

Thank you for doing all of the photo additions you have been for Coos county - it's great to have more than one person doing them!

I noticed on the one for Marion Spencer in Catching Creek cemetery that it has the marker for Merlin, instead of Marion. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=14986575

Do you have a second to correct this one? I recently too picture of all of the markers, so have a replacement, but you put the original up and it should remain yours.

My name is Robyn Greenlund, and you can e-mail me at rgreenlund61@yahoo.com if you would like.

Re: Benjamin Tomerlin
I suspect that Benjamin Tomerlin had two brothers-George Washington and James Madison Tomerlin-who married daughters of William P. Milligan and Sophronia Woods. Benjamin Tomerlin and his wife were boarding in the home of William & Sophronia in 1900 in Deming, New Mexico.

I wrote to you in February hoping for a link from McClellan Black to his wife. Is that something you would be willing to do now?
Many thanks for considering it.

Amanda Brenner
Mary Ann Dail Salmon
Hello Poppyseed,
Although I live in Texas, I was visiting the Tucson area and so looked up photo requests in the area. I located the San Xavier Cemetery, but the entire cemetery is fenced and posted as "Keep Out". I didn't see any contact information. If you could find contact information, I'm sure someone in the area would try to help. If I am in AZ again later this year, I would definitely go back if there was a way to get into the cemetery legally.

I wish I had a photo to post, or better news.

I wish you the best of luck!
