|Cynthia Patz Smith||Capt John T. Kanapaux|
Hello! I was recently in Charleston, SC and photographed a headstone for Capt John T. Kanapaux, with the same inscription as the one on your page, but I was at Magnolia Cemetery and the info you have listed says "Burial at St. Lawrence Cemetery". There are also other Kanapuax in a Kanapaux section at Magnolia that may need added. I just wanted to check in with you in case Capt John T Kanapaux's info needed updated. :)

Thx Yvonne for looking up the news article on her death. I updated her memorial with your info & gave you credit for it.
I guess family history got a little twisted along the way with the way they remembered things and passing it down.
Thx for setting the record straight.

|Betsy Devault||Smith Frederick Krupp Jr.|
David, I spent time at Holy Cross Cemetery several times lookig for Smith Krupp. He is not listed in any records as being buried there. The only Krupp is one Richard Krupp. Could your Smith have gone by this name ? I'll be making a tripp to the library to research some others in the newspaper archives so I will look for his obit to verify his info.
Found the above message, my Grandfather is Smith My Uncle is Smith Frederick Krupp Jr and he is buried at the Holy Cross Cemetery .... was wondering if you were looking for them

You are very welcome for the information about Charles Wever. I ran across it while doing other research and I thought it was very interesting. Don't write him off as a relative just yet, you may find later that he is. I've had that happen a few times. :)

My family came into Charleston, SC in Dec 1801 I know there are Gahagan's in the area, but do not know how they fit in, I have been working on the family history, but do not have a line on them there. They could be from one of the brothers.

Do have some interest in Alice Ravenel Huger Smith?
I recently found a younger photo of her. Same mouth and facial expressions. Quite a woman, in her day!

|Robert Strickland||RE: Any relation|
Maybe distantly. Do you have any of the older names?
Added by Robert Strickland on Aug 07, 2012 11:03 AM
Yes, my email's still the same. Do you know who Timothy Corcoran parents were, or the parents of Mary Casey, his wife? I don't mind sending him to you if you want me to. Let me know it may be easier to just transfer him to you.

|Saratoga||RE: Transfer memorials|
Yvonne, I didn't sent the memorial on John T. Corcoran since he is my grandchildren's great uncle. His father was the grandchildren's ggg? grandfather. If you really want him I'll send him. Let me know if that's the case.

|Linda Wallis||Sarah A Hayes Cordray|
Yvonne - I've completed your request for a photo of the grave of Mrs Cordray. Of the three children you mentioned, only Mary Agnes is buried on the lot with her and she's in an unmarked grave. Died 8-11-1917 at age 19. There's no record of John Allen or Theresa in the cemetery. I might also mention that Cathedral Cemetery is now known as Catholic Cemetery. The name of the cemetery was changed sometime in the 1930s.

I amresearching the Mason line in Charleston, SC for a friend. I see Paul was born in Georgia,
but moved to Charleston.
Was his family originally from Charleston?

|Magda Menner||RE: Karen DeAngelo marker|
GOH refers to her location as "The Rose Garden Mausoleum". It's located in the middle of the gardens and all markers face outward.
Glad you like the photo.

I am one of the three grandsons of Albert William Litchgi. My mother, Mary Kiem Litschgi Anderson (22 Dec. 1915 to 17 Nov. 1999) was the second child and second daughter born of the marriage of Albert William Litschi and Mary Catherine Byrne Litschgi.
Let me know if you want more information about my family.
My understanding is that Charles Litschgi was my grandfather's uncle. I would greatly appreciate all information you could provide about Albert William Litchgi.
You may already know that Charles Litschi donated the money for the main altar for the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Broad Street in Charleston, SC. I will see if I can download those pictures to your website.

This is a huge cemetery, and without grave location, impossible to find. Grave location is not given to anyone but family.

Hi Yvonne, We are enjoying the snow. We have about a foot on the ground. Wellsboro seems to miss the major snow storms from the east and the west. They just go around us. This countryside is very beautiful. I did enjoy the south when we lived there, and I do miss having my horses. Thank you so much for the note about Rebecca's stonemason. I love knowing the history behind the names. I will make a note on her site. Best,Darlene
