Eli Henry Way & Thursay Toliver Way
Dear Robert:

Thank you so much for entering these family members into Find-A-Grave! I appreciate the sites that you've created, and I would like to manage them if possible. Would you please transfer their memorials to me? As you can see, I've already sponsored their sites, and I would love to go further.

Thank you for your consideration.

Kind regards,

genealogygirl

Marraige date
Greetings, on # 14806774 John H Knauer, there is a note that says he married Elizabeth Newgent on 12/21/1912. The date he married Elizabeth should be 5/7/1890, as it says on her page. He did marry Etta (about 1908) after Elizabeth. Thanks for your work on "findagrave" Chuck McCleery

You said,

"This is a duplicate memorial.
#52129291, which I believe is also one of yours, is the same person. This is
his military marker, the other is his grave stone. You might want to consider
combining the two into one.

Thanks,
Rob
Lane"

The name on the other memorial is Thurman Jones. Are you confirming that John T. and Thurman are the same person? If they are, I will gladly combine them.

Mr. Lane:

Been a while since we have talked! I hope you are well. thanks for all of your work on the census online!

I have been working on the Gresham/Grisham/Grissom in Washington, Martin, Orange Co IN. I saw on ancestry that you had listed Benjamin Case and Nancy Gresham Case. They are buried at Sulphur Creek Cem. Have you researched them? I would like to share.

Robert, I'm doing family genealogy research for one of my distant relatives from Floyd County, IN.

Long story short, my research brought me to this entry by you:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=41475228

Any information you can provide about the source story about Millie pointing a gun at Robert and telling him the daughter wasn't his? When did that happen? She had two more children, and I'm researching a possible connection to one of them.

Thank you in advance!

David Peters
Col, Jacob Ogle
I came across your posting of Col. Ogle's gravestone in Vigo,Indiana. One minor error he was born in Cumberland, Pa., not Va. In 1820 Cumberland,Pa. was divided up into a few counties, the main one that was formed was Perry, so he was was born 1791 Bartlett's Cove Penn Twp., Cumberland, Co., Pa.(now Perry)It's near the current town of Duncannon and close to current border with Cumberland co.
I'm a descendant of his brother James and his wife Rachel Willis. Jacob is probably named for his maternal grandfather Johann Jacob Weiser, the nephew of Conrad Weiser the noted frontiersman and Indian agent. Jacob's other brother John was also married to Martha Beatty the siosre of Sarah Beatty.

The Pioneer account was fantastic. I was Baptized in Liberty Baptist Church and we own land there on the other side of Liberty Baptist Church Road across from where Eli Way originally purchased land. I landed here via research into Abraham Workman and land records. Mr. Workman has an obelisk at the top of the hill behind our home.
