Robert, I'm doing family genealogy research for one of my distant relatives from Floyd County, IN.
Long story short, my research brought me to this entry by you:
Any information you can provide about the source story about Millie pointing a gun at Robert and telling him the daughter wasn't his? When did that happen? She had two more children, and I'm researching a possible connection to one of them.
Thank you in advance!

|David Peters||Col, Jacob Ogle|
I came across your posting of Col. Ogle's gravestone in Vigo,Indiana. One minor error he was born in Cumberland, Pa., not Va. In 1820 Cumberland,Pa. was divided up into a few counties, the main one that was formed was Perry, so he was was born 1791 Bartlett's Cove Penn Twp., Cumberland, Co., Pa.(now Perry)It's near the current town of Duncannon and close to current border with Cumberland co.
I'm a descendant of his brother James and his wife Rachel Willis. Jacob is probably named for his maternal grandfather Johann Jacob Weiser, the nephew of Conrad Weiser the noted frontiersman and Indian agent. Jacob's other brother John was also married to Martha Beatty the siosre of Sarah Beatty.

Robert, do you know the location of book 14?
I have been looking for it and no one seems to know where it is or if it still exists.

The Pioneer account was fantastic. I was Baptized in Liberty Baptist Church and we own land there on the other side of Liberty Baptist Church Road across from where Eli Way originally purchased land. I landed here via research into Abraham Workman and land records. Mr. Workman has an obelisk at the top of the hill behind our home.

|D & J Cloninger||RE: Reynolds Family Cemetery|
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, but had to wait on a reply to an friend to find out where Reynold's Family Cemetery might be located in Vanleer. Here is his directions, and I'm sure if you get close someone in the neighborhood can direct you further.
It's out in the middle of nowhere. I've never been there but can get you in the vicinity.
Go through Vanleer & head out on Hwy 49 towards Houston Co. taking the left fork at Jarman's Market.
Keep straight until you see Wolf Branch Road on your left where you turn. Remain straight crossing a covered bridge & look for a sign on the right before an old burned out water plant.
It's somewhere around there & there may be a gate. I think the closest house is the Edward's house & believe that is Paul's daughter.
Hope this helps. Judi
