RE: corrections
Well, why didn't I think of that? I was trying to edit it instead of changing the whole thing! Thanks so much Bev!

Thanks so much for your work on the Waltons. I was able to fill in much on the descendants of Nancy Agnes Dow through your entries. I especially appreciated the inclusion of the obituaries.

RE: George Bean 50237853
I see yes I thought that could be the case with the records but wasn't sure. You can go to Josiah Bean's listing at First Settlers Cem it is #47059601 but they are all there, and our family records have always stated burial at First Settlers. We find this very interesting as per the stones all of your listings at Pilley are also correct. They can't very well all be buried at both locations so this is very much intriguing and somewhat pleasantly mysterious to us:) you can also 'borrow' my virtual to view a select few of both memorials if you'd like - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=vcsr&GSvcid=236114 ........ Any insight you have about this since you are very familiar with things there could assist us in figuring it out, in that we are a little puzzled by it, all in some good way! Our family line goes straight back to Josiah and Eunice via the others buried in Detroit Village Cem in Somerset Co ME.

RE: George Bean 50237853
Yes, thank you.
What you have on the first posting for Cpl George Bean (NMI) is correct and I will accept, although the record of death at Brooks ME that I found would seem to confuse the issue that he died at New Orleans LA. You may switch the photo order if you wish, just a suggestion. This one was the son of Andrew D and Lydia.

I believe the second one for whom you have posted the info Pvt George M Bean may have been killed in action at Baton Rouge and not died from disease, but that's ok. This one was the son of George W and Eunice buried at Grove Cem, Belfast, Waldo Co ME.

More importantly, the info in the caption for Andrew is incorrect by someone else, so I will work on fixing.

The entire immediate family listings here in this Pilley Cemetery are also all in the First Settlers Cemetery, so I am of the thinking that these markers in Pilley are cenotaphs. Do you concur?

Thank you much for your assistance, it is appreciated.

Thelma Kifer
Winship
Is the June that was married to Hershell Winship your aunt? I don't know her but Hershell and his brothers and sister are in my data, and it says they are related to me in two different families. Long ways off 7 and 8 cousins twice removed, but still family.
