Mary McMurphy Corning
I am the director of the Dyer Library and Saco Museum in Saco, ME. We will be opening an exhibition of schoolgirl embroidery in May, including samplers worked by Mary McMurphy and her sister Hannah who died in 1839. Would you be willing to share your photo of Mary so we could put it by her sampler?
thank you!

John Lemasters
Are you related to John Lemasters? I am researching the Spanish American War and William Lemasters had a son named John and the picture of John looks so much like William.
I can't locate were William B. Lemasters is buried. He was born in 1880 in Cooper Co. Missouri, but lived in Evansville, Indiana.

James Middaugh
Thanks for the extra information for the 1900 Census record for James Middaugh #17439358 and his family. I found the memorial for Sarah (Middaugh) Jacoke (his sister) and have asked for Sarah to be linked to their mother. Thanks again for the help.

Hi:
It looks like the computer grabbed an unfinished memorial. 100025323 is incomplete. You might think about removing it.

Bill McCrea
William Archibald McCrea
BluMoKitty,
William Archibald McCrea memorial #95958888.
I'm trying to locate the parents of my 4th great grandfather Alexander McCrea b.abt 1745,d.1826, Asbury, Warren, New Jersey. He shows up here in 1770ish and we have been here ever since. What kinda leads me to this William is the fact the Alex had three sons. John (my 3rd great grandfather) Archibald and William. Quite a coincidence. Nearby are another group of McCrea's that I have not been able to connect with my McCrea's. The oldest member of that group is James McCrea born abt 1740. I was wondering if you were related, had additional info or had any info that you couldn't prove? If interested I do have additional information I would like to share.

Hi

if you think it appropriate you can nominate the profile for the "famous" category. But there are requirements for the bio that must be met in order to go through the process. Look it up if you're interested. :-) Goodluck

RE: Ambrose Spencer (#105100631)
Thanks for the update. I should be clear next time I post an edit to one of your memorials.

He is listed as Ambrose Spencer Jr in the Army Register, but I'll leave the choice of adding the Jr up to you.
