Entering more married names
Go to the edit part, add all the married names before the last name.

Go to the memorial, get the memorial number then add all of the husbands in the spouse section to that memorial.

John Adair
Hi,

FYI: His wife's marker is about 100 yards to the north of his. She is in a plot with the surrounding graves empty.

I was told by the man who place a lot of stones in the cemetery (he owned the granite works in Astoria that provided the majority of the markers) that legend had it that Bethenia didn't want anyone buried next to her, so she bought nine plots and took the center one.

Hi,

I submitted a correction for John Adair 119134973 based upon the information on the grave marker.

Hi, Thanks for doing the parent links for Jack. It took me awhile to find him as I only had seen his name as Jacob, but I finally found all of my great aunt Martha Fey Schlenker's siblings :). ~ Margo

Cousin?
Hi Blu,

Just trying to find out how we are related? I noticed your "flower" that you left for Bob Saunders where you mentioned being his cousin. If you are his cousin then we must be related somehow as I am also his cousin. Please contact me so that we might be able to figure out the connection. :) Joann

RE: Thank You
Hello - Thanks for the kind note. It's more satisfying to me to locate and link family members than to add new records, although I've added some when I find gaps. -- Linda

You are most welcome. I am planning on going to St. John's next week sometime for re-checks, etc and I will try and locate Helen's grave and photograph it.

I am the director of the Dyer Library and Saco Museum in Saco, ME. We will be opening an exhibition of schoolgirl embroidery in May, including samplers worked by Mary McMurphy and her sister Hannah who died in 1839. Would you be willing to share your photo of Mary so we could put it by her sampler?
thank you!
