|Gary Boughton||RE: Bouton family|
Thanks, that would be great. We're in South - West CT. and the snow is slowly melting. Should be gone by July.

I was wondering if you have actually seen the gravestones for Seth Bouton and family in the Lysander Village Cemetery, or were they taken from a list. I would like to visit but I am about 4-1/2 hours away.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I was wondering if you actually saw the stone for Polly Walton in the Lysander Village Cemetery because I couldn't find it. I know it was on an old census...Thanks

Thanks for the correct info. My information came from someone's transcription of the cemetery. I have made the corrections and added the obit you sent.

at Lysander - I would like to know if you are related? I had sent numerous requests for updates that go ignored, -is there a problem? These are my relatives.

Yes, I found that too. I keep thinking Delia is the key. She married Benj Coppernoll and is listed as Delia Coppernoll in 1870 but had the audacity to call herself Harriet from then on. I didn't know it was her (Delia) until I saw her headstone at Lysander Cem. In 1870 and 1880 she's next door to Hastings Merrifield, who was also in the family of Amos and Roxana. Hastings was 2 years older or younger than Norman and they shared a boarding house in Lysander in 1850. I'd say the evidence is pretty strong that Norman was a brother to Hastings, Delia/Harriet and Alfred but I just can't prove it.
In case you're wondering, I'm trying to prove that the Merrifield family my great granduncle Willis Gillett married into (Norman) is also the same family of my great great great grandmother Lydia Merrifield, also born in Leicester, VT. Her dad was named Joseph. Thanks, Bruce

You created the memorial for Amos Merrifield and I wonder if you have any evidence that he was father of Norman Merrifield (m. L. Jane Lampman)also in the Lysander cem. Thanks, Bruce Gillett
