Hello - was wondering if you have overlooked adding her daughter,

Ruth Mildred Padgham Piper #24413830 to her memorial.

Will delete my memorial then. Thanks, Ann

I have been to the grave of Elizabeth, wife of Abraham Ringle, many years ago. I do not recall which cemetery... I did have to trek back to it.

Rachel Huff Padgham
I've gone thru all my notes and as to her birth in Ireland I have only "from Ancestry World Tree Project." That was in about 2006. The info seems quite unlikely. I think you are probably correct with her birth in OH. I have no further info on her or any of her family.
I have no problem deleting her page but what about her grave photo? I do not know enough about Find A Grave to know how to transfer it. The photo is not mine but was from a volunteer.
Please advise. Ann

Thank you so much for the great photo of the headstone. Your help shows this may not be the correct person, since we show he was KIA. We'll have to do some more research and sort this out.

Was there a veteran's flag holder at the headstone?

Thanks again for the time and effort to get this picture!

Cynthia Schenck
Jacob Rumple, Loudon Twp. cemetery, Fostoria, Ohio
I have the following information from my great aunt: "Copied from the gravestone of Jacob and Mary Rumple by Elsie Rosenberger Coats: "Behold, my friends, as you pass by. As you are now so once was I. As I am now, you must be. Prepare for death and follow me" "Blessed are the dead Who die in the Lord".
He is my 4th great grandfather.
I was so glad to see that his memorial already existed!
Do you know if the stone still exists?
Cindy Schenck

RE: Loudon Twp Cemetery, Seneca Co OH

I have worked extensively on the ancestry of the Padghams from Kent, England.
Here are the sources for my information on Rachel Huff:

Her husband, Henry Padgham's, bio: The Biographical Record of Wood Co., OH by J. H. Beers & Co. 1897

His obituary: Fostoria Daily Review, Fostoria OH, 9 Apr 1915

and her death notice: Fostoria (OH) Review 5 Oct 1883
