Hi Again
Going to meet Willie Mae Bradford tomorrow. She is Connie's daughter and should be daughter of Shelly. Willie May is 93 years old. Is there anything you need me to ask her about?

Carlos Harrison Find A Grave Memorial# 40876275
This memorial has Carlos as the son of William F and Elizabeth Harrison. He was actually the son of Lewis and Cassie Parmer Harrison.I have a Florida Death Certificate that lists Lewis and Cassie as his parents.

Skinner Cemetery - James & Anna Elmore
Shelly -

I have looked for my Great-Great Grandfather and Grandmothers (James & Anna Elmore) burial site for several years. All my family said he was buried in the Pilot Point Community Cemetery. When I couldn't find their burial site I was told it could have been unmarked. Thank you for your work at the Skinner Cemetery. The Elmore's were original settlers in Grayson, Cooke and Denton counties. Earliest record I find was 1852.

I am curious - were your photos and cataloging of the graves in the Skinner Cemetery the first work done there for Find A Grave. I ask because I have researched this for quite a while and had not been able to find James or Anna.

request to edit 2 memorials
Nannie Jones memorial #39835203 and W.M. Jones memorial #39835202 - were husband and wife - they are my great grandparents. W.M. was her husband, William. I don't know if you can add information that doesn't appear on the headstone, but Nannie's maiden name was McLaughlin. W.M. Jones was born David Tilmon Cheatham.

Hello and thank you for the information. I've actaully seen this reward offer; it's available on Ancestry.com if you're a subscriber. I find it a bit odd that the Governor was offering a reward twenty years after the crime, but that appears to be what he did. I do not know if Drew Derr was ever arrested or what became of him.

RE: Gerti Ellington #39796800
Hi Shelly,

Thank you for contacting me. I may need to create a memorial Gertrude Ellington's daughter Matti Juanita Ellington, DOB: 21 MAY 1910, DOD: 04 OCT 1910, as this is the only proof I have for now and was found in Ancestry.com) in order to add her.
I can't seem to locate a phone number to call on Midway Cemetery, to find out if little "Mattie", is actually buried there.

Again, thank you for your valuable time.

Don

Zeke Holloway
Shelley, I noticed that you just posted some information about Zeke Holloway. He is a relative of mine. When were you at the cemetery? I am the person that is attempting to take care of the cemetery, but not much help. We need a gate and some serious brush removal. Would there be help available for this. Just asking... Thanks a lot for what you are doing. Just registered to Find A Grave.

Brenda Black
Thank you so much for the photo for Brenda Black in Cooper Creek Cemetery. I suspect she and her family are distant relatives of mine (my maiden name is Black) and I wanted to make sure her photo was included.

Thank you for the links of her parents. I am sorry that I didn't see the edits, I didn't realize that I had them, I was used to being notified by email when someone needed me to add or correct memorials. I am glad that Find A Grave made the changes for you.

Rona Chalk memorial.
Thank you for creating a memorial for Rona Chalk. As far as I can tell she was not on family records (but would need to double check), and of course would not be on census records, as she was born and died between the 1870 and 1880 census recordings.
