Frederick Raible
Hi Sandra - Are there two Frederick Raibles at Glendale? You have two memorials for him, one with a photo (95776568) and one without (95776565). There is a photo request for 95776565 that I began to fulfill before realizing it may be a duplicate of 95776568. If there is only one Frederick Raible, can you remove 95776565? If not, I'll continue to search for another Frederick Raible at Glendale. Thanks!

James E. Cadmus
Hi Sandra,
I am not the owner of the original Cadmus page. I just came across the two of them while I was trying to link him to some of his family. I have put in edit requests to the owner for the links and his death info, but thought you would want to put in an edit request for your biography info as well.
Thanks for your quick response.

Transfer Request
Please consider transfer of the memorial of my aunt Julie (Ortowski) Tafelski #95717953 to me. I manage her husband and other siblings.

Elmer Elihu Wright

According to the stone of Aaron Hillman Wright he died in 1861. One of his sons is listed as Elmer Elihu #13409903 at Azalia Cemetery. It states he was born in 1868 which would be wrong if he was Aaron's son. Maybe it is a typo.

Thank you for your help in this matter.

If you go to their memorials, there's a button near the bottom of the photo section that says 'change photo order'. From there, you can select which photo is first, second, etc. You can only do this for memorials you currently maintain, but I looked & it says you maintain their memorials still. :)

My Great Grandma's maiden name was Gertrude Emily Johnson. We are from Tuscola County in the thumb. I've traced that family back to Lambton Shores, Canada, & Argyle, Scotland, so if your kids' relatives are from those places too, they may be relatives of mine as well!

Harriet Bassett
Hello again Sandra, I went back to the Crane Cemetery today and photo'd Harriet's grave but I see that it has been claimed and fulfilled so I added my pic to her memorial anyway.

Cemetery walk
Hello, I want to organize a "Ridgeway Rambles" cemetery walk for Ridgeway for next Sep/or Oct. I'm not sure if you are near Ridgeway. Would you at all be interested in taking part in this by representing one of your ancestors buried there? I want to give first dibs to family members. This would involve "being" that person for tours coming through the cemetery. Please let me know, I welcome any ideas. Please respond back to me at with cemetery walk in the subject line. And please remind me in the email which one your relative is. Thanks!

DeLong Family
I've added some memorials and links to several memorials you may find interesting. If you look at Berniece (DeLong) Waun's memorial and click on either of her parents' names, you'll see links to her sisters and brothers, except for her brother Floyd Gordon DeLong. I've submitted a request for edit to add his name as well. You probably already know about the links to all her grandparents on her parent's memorial.

Bassetts in Crane Cemetery.
Hello Sandra, I went to Crane cemetery today and found the Bassett plot of 5 grave stones. There is a George A, the rest was illegible, The next stone was Harriet E. wife of Ebenezer whose stone has a wife, Deborah on it, Next was Nehemiah and the last one was Mary, wife of Nehemiah. I think I skipped one stone while taking the pics but I go by there often and I will return and see who I missed. This is a very old cemetery with a lot of broken, missing and worn down markers but it's in a beautiful place and is well maintained

Hi Sandra,

Glad it helped add to the record. I do not know them either. I just went out one day with my husband and we took a lot of photos. Just trying to give back for all those who have helped me.

Looks like your correct on the spellings for there names. I will let the cemetery sexton know next time I'm up there. They had the wrong spelling for Berniece. They get the spelling from the burial permits.
Hope you got my message as to how I got the Section, Lot and Grave numbers.

I've been working with the cemetery sexton on typing out some of the hand written records. That's how I got the section and lot numbers. When I got up to the cemetery, I couldn't find my notes for the names people wanted photos of so I photographed all of the stones in section 13. I searched through all the photos after I got home and didn't find any photos for Clifford or Berniece Waun. There are a lot of unmarked graves and I will be double checking the graves against the records.

I was at Downing Cemetery yesterday and was unable to locate gravestones for Cliffton & Berniece Waun. I did notice that Berniece had two spellings in her obituary, Berniece & Bernice. I don't know which is correct.

You had the name Waun on your message. Was that Bernice Waun's grave? I've sent out a lot of edit request. As soon as the weather cools off a little I'll be making a trip to Downing Cemetery.

Re: Bassets
Greetings Sandra, you're welcome for the transfer, but I'm a little confused by some of your genealogy. It appears that Ebenezer is your GG-grandfather not three Greats. Also isn't Harriet McNair Bassett your GG-grandmother not Deborah Hagaman? The lineage seems to be Robert (your father), Paul, Albert (Harriet's son), and Ebenezer. I will probably just transfer all of the Bassetts that I have so you can add info.
Also, if you are ever in the Crane Cemetery for photos, will you please look for any Cranes? I will do a photo request if you are travelling there. thanx, John
