RE: Bursees in Kinney Cem.
I looked to see if they had marking on the top or back and they don't. The same was true for Dolly Lewis, buried at the foot of their graves or the next row toward the front of the cemetery. There are many empty spaces around those three stones where more may have stood at one time.

James Snodgrass 15381224
Hi Cheryl,

How did James Snodgrass participate in the War of 1812 when he was born in 1822? Should this record be attached to his father instead?

RE: Fred Markus
Hi Cheryl,

Glad I could add something to his memorial. I'm trying to confirm Fred's wife, Agnes' parents with a descendant. I also have Agnes' mother, Mary F. Ankeney's death certificate which I will add to your memorial for her but there are a couple of descrepancies that I need to clarify first.

I'm not related to the family but had inherited these photos from my grandmother and traced down the descendant so I can give the originals to her.

It's all about sharing and helping each other and not forgetting those who came before us.

Hello again Cheryl,
No problem. Would you make it easier for me by clicking of the "Request A Photo" for each of them. I'll find the photo and also recheck for others I might have. If not I'll go back and taken them again.

Janis Babb
Harriett Keiter
You have her death listed as 1884. Almost all the researches I see on and the Babb book I have, has her death in 1883. Is there a tombstone for her in the cemetery? If not, are there records available to you? Please check for a correct date. I notice there is a picture of her husband, Bemjamin Keiter. If there is a tombstone for Harriett, can you take a picture? Thanks, I am

Kewl! Oh it's soooooo OK to use any of the pics for whatever. Glad you were able to "see" some more about him. My Dad attended there for 2 years then quit to marry my Mom...and my eldest daughter graduated from there in 2009. Good Luck in your family tree quest! I love going thru records etc and posting data, obits, pics and whatever. Glad my efforts are worth it! ;D

RE: Hussey Cemetery
Thank you so much for taking the time to make the updates. Just checking the Find A Grave list with the historical society list done in 1969 by my great aunt's. Really a shame to see the cemetery become harder and harder to read each year. but that is the way it goes.
