You're very welcome! His marker was totally covered in wet leaves since last fall so it would not have been possible to get it in the winter so it was probably the earliest in the season I could have gotten it. It was actually good that it was wet because then the dirt was easily wiped away for a nice clean stone. I was wondering if his Surname had any connection to one of our larger Cities in Minnesota or if it was just a coincidence.

You sent me an edit indicating that Simon Lake is not the father of Walter Lake, but you designate no one else. Do you have some evidence of this? As I did not set up the memorial I do not know these folks.

I see you have a Isaac Northrup as unknown in Milford Side Cemetery-I believe this is Isaac Northrup 1725-1784 when I blow up the picture-He was in the Rev. war---He was born in Ridgefield, Fairfield, Ct. & they say died there as well I confirmed with the Town Hall this week re:the dates--I cannot find a listing for this cemetery so i can contact the Sexton.....I need some help as I am in Michigan....Thanking you kindly, Sue------------- the email for me is sue.tillman.mi@gmail.com
