|Don Guker||Change to memorial 68690225|
This is my mother's memorial. I changed the surname to Guker. If you need to know the reason I would be happy to share with you in a personal email. But I have a question. How does one add to the list of siblings? Thanks for your help.. Don

Thank you for your note. I didn't realize linking family directly was an option now. I appreciate your letting me know. And, again, thanks for your contributions to Find A Grave.

I don't know what your connection is to the Sitz family, but I wanted to let you know I added memorials for the rest of the family that was in that lot.

If you look closely at the wide shot I added to the Kaufmanns, you can see the Schmidt family stone directly to the right of the Kaufmann family stone. I also added a memorial for Frank's wife, Freda.

Good Morning Peggy.
Thanks for the info.
I have her moved over. I knew I had a 50/50 chance of getting the right cemetery when I put it on.
If she is family/friend I will be happy to transfer the memorial over to you care.
I was researching "Farley" back then, but she is not one of ours.
Happy Researching, Bud

Find A Grave Memorial# 102708821, I saw your request for an edit. For some reason, I can't locate the cemetery. maybe it is late and I need to rest my eyes :-). Could you send me a link to the cemetery?

Thanks for transferring my baby sister. Today I noticed that you have put virtual flowers on many of the Frick graves at St. Peter Cem. in Red Bud and St. Marcus Cem. in Round Prairie. I don't know what the flowers signify, but it suggested to me that perhaps we some overlapping Frick families in our lines.
Many of the Frick graves at St. Marcus, and just a couple that I took photos of at St. Peters don't have gravestone photos yet. Is it okay by you, as their manager, if I just keep posting my best gravestone photos from last October on webpages where there aren't any now?

|Judy||RE: Thielen Family|
Hi Peggy Ray,
The people I've so far been editing are all my close, fairly immediate family. Baby Rehmer is my eldest sister (a stillborn... I could tell you how and why that happened but it's kind of a personal family story!) The Thielen brothers were my mom's first cousins, and I feel rather strongly that family branches that "die out" as theirs have, are remembered despite leaving no future generations of offspring to honor them...Henry Thielen was a truly amazing guy with a lively intelligence and so many interests, and he was a great philanthropist in the Red Bud community. I loved that guy dearly!!
I joined findagrave as a contributor just two days ago, having taken a number of digital photos when I was visiting my sister in Waterloo, IL for a few days last October. I finally decided I should do something with them. I saw you'd well covered the St. Peter's UCC Cemetery in Red Bud with regard to data but that I had photo I could add as well as dates and connections. Also there were "openings" for sponsoring most of the Rehmer graves at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Prairie, east of Red Bud, so I decided to jump in and volunteer. If it's okay with you I'll be making some more links between Trinity graves/people and St. Peter graves/people in the near future (i.e., my parents are buried at Trinity, but their firstborn Baby Rehmer is at St. Peter, mom's church). I have a lot of data on the Schmidts-Blumes-Fricks at St. Peter and hope to be posting more edits to you in coming days..
My sister and I started doing the family history together about 10 yrs ago or maybe a little longer, after an earlier visit to the hometown area. She used to work at the Monroe County Court House in Waterloo at a job that allowed her some free time to poke through courthouse records, so that was also a great help to us.
I could get specific if you'd like with how I got each date, but they come from multiple sources (birth records, obits, etc.)...what do you need?
I'm also not entirely sure of the findagrave protocol. I noticed you are the creator of Henry Schmidt (1834-1917)'s grave at St. Peter but there was nothing on findagrave for his wife Albertine, who shares the same headstone. So I entered that birth/death data for her and am now, I suppose, her creator. These are my great-grandparents but I'd happily transfer Albertine to you if you'd like, which seems to make sense as they are buried together. However, I've not dealt with that procedure yet.
So happy to meet you, and to thanks for all the work you've done at St. Peters in Red Bud! — Judy

"Louise died following an operation for appendicitis.
Louise was first married to Bohnhorst. After his death she married Jacob Schaffraneck. He also preceded her in death.
She was survived by seven children; 10 grandchildren; one sister, three brothers; 2 sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law and many friends.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; a daughter and a son."
-Newspaper & Date Unknown
Please advise how adding the name Bohnhorst to her Find-A-Grave name, is in conflict with your data.
