RE: SAC for Jacob Mosbacher

I received this obit in a bunch of items clipped from News Papers and Church items. Jacob was my Great Grandmothers cousin. He died in 1957, my Great Grandmother died in 1947, don't believe they thought about keeping the name of the newspapers when they were clipping the obit. I never met Jacob, but I did know my Great Grandmother, whose husband was the Sexton at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Belleville for over 40 years, I don't remember seeing many, if any in the cemetery records either. Even Funeral Directors just stapled the obit to their copy of the Funeral Record (maybe), they didn't always put the name of the newspaper, it was a catch as catch can system.

RE: SAC for Jacob Mosbacher

You are correct about his place of Birth, however Findagrave doesn't have a "Near Hecker" option. I then need to use the "Hecker". I wish they would provide these sort of data abilities, especially useful when the person lived outside the city limits and was born or died at the family home, i.e. a farmer.

As to where I got his place of death as being Waterloo it is stated in his Obit as Monroe County Nursing Home in Waterloo.

I'll take another look at the entry to make sure I entered his Obit.

Jerry Fults
Hello Peggy. Thank you for posting the info about Jerry. He was my Father in law. He was a very sweet man.
I have been doing research since 1998 after my Grandpa past away.
I haven't done research in years but I have decided to start doing it again. It started getting to me when it came time to add death dates so I had to stop for awhile. I'm ready to jump back into it. It's my passion in life to find and share information and pictures.
I am glad that I found your page. May I ask how are you related to the Fults Family?
I have your email address from your page. I'll get my Family Tree books I have put together over the years and send info to you just let me know what you need. I have a lot of pictures.

HI Peggy,
Will you please share with me how your husband descends from Hezekiah Ray? I will gladly mail everything I have on his line to you, if you would like. I may have info that you don't. And every little bit helps.

Ray Family Memorials
Hi Peggy,
I just wanted to commend you. You Have done an AMAZING job on your memorials, leaving wonderful info, and obits, marriages, etc. I am so thankful for all that you have done. I am related to your husband, as we both descend from Rev. Ambrose Ray and wife, Elizabeth Holcombe, from Cross keys, Union Co, SC. Their daughter, my Mary Ann "Polly" Ray b. 1774 Cross Keys, SC, d. 1858 in Flat Creek, Bedford Co, TN, on Goose Creek Road, and buried there, in the Norman Family Graveyard, behind their home in what is now Norman Thicket. Polly married John Norman b. 1773 Cross Keys, SC, d. Jan 1805 Union Co, SC. Cousin, Jimmy Womble lives a couple of farms from the old Norman Family Farm on Goose Creek Rd, and he took me back into the Thicket, and I found Polly's grave. She lived with her son, John Finney Norman and wife, Milly Hubbard. I descend from John Finney Norman's brother, Alexander Andrew Norman and wife, Cynthia Hill. Hezekiah Ray moved to Flat Creek, with his sister, my Mary Ann "Polly" Ray in abt 1812.
Again, thanks for all your wonderful work and research.
Sarah G. "Jerri" (Norman) Ritter
Lufkin, TX.

RE: Roy Rich
Thank you for asking. No, there is only one "e". I had created a memorial for Roy in 2009 but I had several errors in it (including wrong cemetery)so I deleted it to minimize confusion. I found yours to be much more accurate.

RE: Sharon May Zinsler
The guidelines do indeed say that memorials for living persons dated from 1931 to present should be avoided. I assume you are speaking for SMZ who is your relative. I will remove it immediately.

Sharon May Zinsler
Regarding your request to remove Sharon May Zinsler's memorial, it was created as a result of it already being on a tombstone.

I have interpreted the ban against listing living people on memorials as applying only to descendants - children and grandchildren, etc. - and living parents and siblings.

If you feel this is incorrect, please provide a rationale and I will be responsive.

Thank you for working with me. This is a gray area.

RE: Coldia Pettry in Monroe County, IL
Thank you for any consideration you may give me. I am a direct descendent of Martin Pettry our progenitor.

I am working to try to get all of the family under one management, if possible, so that the families information remains consistent and reliable for future generations.

Got your message about possible duplication. We have different first names and birthdate. Mine agree with tombstone while your info is different. Have no problem deleting my memorial but need more info on what is correct.
