Yes... They are in my husband's line. I have researching them and when I found these entries, I thought the notes might help as others search as well.

What memorial would you like transferred? Could you please use the Suggest a Change feature on the memorial for transfer requests? It makes it much easier for me to know which memorial and to which member the transfer should go to.

I looked in the book I have & can not find who ask for. But that dose not mean we are not family. I will have to get a hold of some one that know more of the family tree.

|Karen Van Wagner||RE: Hi there|
So sorry I've not gotten back to you sooner, I finally came back online here about a month ago! If you are already in the area taking pictures, I have no problem with you photographing my ancestor's stones. I know I took pictures of them all at one point, but it was before I went digital, and I lack a scanner to put them online with. Now that I'm back on the site, I'm probably going to be adding the information for any others who haven't been added already.

Your requests for transfers never mention your relationship to any of the deceased persons.

I am not related to the Flohrs. I was entering my family, the Hobbs and Arringtons and decided to complete the cemetery for other families at the same time. The cemetery should be complete except for unmarked graves and more recent burials.

|Edward Rowlance||Kaler family|
Yes I know a little about the Kalers. We spell it Kaylor and to my knowledge, George Harrison Kaler was the only sibling that spelled his name that way.
George's father, Henry E Kaylor, was born in Lebanon PA in 1806. He appears in Stark county, OH (where I live) in 1840 (last name spelled Caler on that census). He also appears in the 1850 census (same location) but none other (although I haven't had time to research him very much).
His wife was Elizabeth Smith and she preceded him in death. I can find nothing about Henry or Elizabeth's ancestors.
Henry and Elizabeth had 5 sons and 2 daughters. I know very little about any of them except for George Harrison (in the middle of the siblings) and my g-grandfather Charles (youngest).
George Harrison had at least 47 descendents that I've found (including those you provided on findagrave.com) mostly located in California. Charles had 88 (including me).
Henry served in the Civil War as did George and Charles. My grandmother said that all of Henry's sons served in the Civil War but I haven't been able to prove that yet.
If you'd like to know more, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'd like to add you to my online family tree and invite you to join it but I don't know which Choquette was your father.

SAC Suggestion and Correction - On the upper right of the memorial there is a tab labeled edit. The first action is make a suggestion or provide additional information. Click on it and it opens a Message box. You can then ask for changes or transfers or whatever. The advantage is it gives me a link to the memorial so I don't have to hunt for it. Remember to put in your ID #.

please send the requests through SAC's

I live near Worcester. I am the Secretary of Swedish Ancestry Research Association, (SARA) we are a genealogy group dedicated to Swedish Research. I am also currently the journal editor and soon the first issue I have edited will be published. I have family in both Swedish cemeteries in Worcester as well, so I am in the area often.
How are you related to the Nyquists? SARA is always looking for families to research and write about in our newsletter and journal.
Also, we are holding a two day Genealogy Conference in Sturbridge Oct 5-6 (Fri/Sat). We will have 6 of the top professional genealogists from Sweden as speakers and they will also be offering one on one conferences to answer specific research questions for conference attendees. If you are interested contact me and I will get more information to you.
I just wanted to let you know that two of your memorials for the Nyquist family are duplicate memorials. I have sent a message to the Find A Grave Edit e-mail to merge the duplicate memorials so that all of the information from both and the linking will be all together.

Believe me, I wanted to die. I tried everything to salvage even a portion of what was on the drive, but no luck. I still feel like crying every time I think about it. Now it is back up everything, then back up the back up and back that up for good measure lol.

|Devil Kitty Designs||Crash...|
Oh believe me, I learned the hard way to back everything up. I once lost two years worth of genealogy research, along with every photo I had taken in the three years up to that point. I had gotten an external backup hard drive and had everything stored on that, and then someone happened to knock it over and cause just enough damage to make the disks unreadable! I cried for a week afterwards!

|Devil Kitty Designs||RE: Rebecca Rote Garrison|
When I come across pictures of family members on Ancestry or other sites I will save a copy of them and most of the documents (census, birth etc) to my computer so that I can print copies out to add to my personal research binders. I do the same with copies of the photos I request here on Find A Grave. I just don't add them to other sites unless permission is given. This way I don't have to worry about the angry mob coming after me lol.
I know what you mean about better luck with distant relatives. I have had so much great help and so many wonderful pictures and information passed on by the more distant relations I find online then most of the close family members. Funny how that works out.

|Devil Kitty Designs||RE: Rebecca Rote Garrison|
Thank you so much. I have occationally found things on other Ancestry public trees that I have added to mine for various ancestors, but I like to ask first when it is something personal like photos or stories, rather then just plain documents. I also do not more then a handful of the grave photos posted over there, since I won't add them to that site unless whoever took the photos gives permission. Someone on Ancestry has some wonderful photos of about 3 generations of my mom's side of the family, that I would love to put on the memorials here, but I can't seem to get ahold of the person and don't want to get anyone mad at me for snagging them, even if they are my family too.
