|booklover||Tom Byrom photo request|
Regarding your photo request for Tom Byrom in Greene Lawn Cemetery of Walnut Grove, Missouri - the "footstone" which can be seen at the base of Tom Byrom's headstone is for Robert Fagan. You can see his memorial with headstone and footstone photos at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=74024667

|Taweret||re Mt View photo request|
It would make photo volunteers job easier if you could call or email the office at Mt View and inquiry where your ancestors are buried and if they have a headstone. If there isn't a marker, all you'd get is a photo of the location of burial. :/

|Judy Mayfield||Mahala Morse|
I made a trip to Economy cemetery today to take a look a Mahala Morse's stone again and took another photo. I am pretty confident that the death date on her stone is Oct 28, 1880, although my existing photo is probably a better copy then what I took today. I will go ahead and add the close up photo to her memorial.
Hope I was able to answer your question about the date.

|Tami||Lloyd Ellis in Everegreen|
Currently, there is no marker visible on the grave for your Lloyd Ellis.
I have been working on Block 54 for the past year and have tried to find a marker for him (# 140875102) several times I have been hoping to catch the grounds crew who have helped so much in the past. My days have not been so lucky as they are busy with burials and I have not approached them.
Your grave site of Lloyd is right next to the grounds shop, so I am confident we may find a temp marker. In the mean time, I am posting a pic of his grave location. l be going back this week to see if they can help me probe for a temp marker.
The cemetery always placed a temp marker, and then would place the family marker over it. So I am hoping to find a temp marker. There wer many burials in this lot, and I wondered if you might have an old family picture of the marker, if there was one?
Please feel free to email me at sherrill50 at comcast dot net. And I will let you know for sure, what I find for this week!

|Leslee Bloom Dunlap||Elsie Van Eaton|
Leslie, I found Elsie and sent you a correction for her location and added a photo. Have you checked your edits? I also added a photo of the Van Eaton family plot to both Elsie and John's memorials so you can see the location of her grave. If you want those removed from their memorials, let me know.

You are welcome! This will be a great resource. They've worked really hard on it. BTW, how did you find out about Elsie's burial? I haven't seen her son in a long time so hadn't been able to ask like I told you I would. I've been working a lot. :(

Lewis County Historical Society has an obit for your Donald H. Blankenship, (Donald H. Blankenship 1910-1968 Oroville California). Go to their website @ http://www.lewiscountymuseum.org/research-library/obituary-database/b/. Their database just went on-line.

I work for Longview Memorial Park and Steele Chapel. I cannot find any record of Eva being buried here. Her husband Adolph is here but I cannot find anything for Eva in our extensive records.

|Cindy Helm Chadduck||Vernon Morse|
We went to Pioneer Burial Park yesterday afternoon to fulfill your request. We could not locate the stone that you are requesting. We located many of the Morse stones but not Vernon Morse.
Pioneer Burial Park is a smaller cemetery (94 interments) and since you said he was at Plot 35 - we must regretfully conclude there is not a headstone for Vernon. Is it possible that Vernon was laid to rest in another cemetery? We ask since the records indicate all the other Morse family with Row and Plot Numbers. There are approximately 15 interments per row and the cemetery is well kept and easily walked.
Just wanted to let you know that we did attempt.

I able to confirm with the cemetery today that only Mary McNulty has a headstone. John McNulty and Stephen McNulty do not have one. Would you like a photo of their burial plots? In addition, I was able to get John McNulty's obit from the cemetery. Mary and Stephen didn't have one on file. I am not tech savvy so I could snail mail the obit to you if you are interested in it. If so, email me privately at firstname.lastname@example.org

|mshunter||RE: Claquato / Silvercreek Cemetery|
Sorry, but the information actually came to me from the manager at Claquato Cemetery. She has been exceptionally helpful to me over time in locating grave site locations. She definitely has other resources that I can only dream of. If you contact her at Claquato Cemetery hopefully she will be able to help you.
Kindest regards, mshunter

You're very welcome; it's my honor to take photos there. This was the best time of year to catch these stones in sun-soon they will be completely shaded by the deciduous tree to the south. Please let me know if i can help with any other photos there.

|klassikat||RE: Tacoma Cemetery|
Hi, I highly doubt he has one as well especially if it says "bottom". He is resting under one of the other Austins. My assumption is that he is under his wife Sylvia since he passed before her. The person who added the photo of the people in that area probably missed your request for Horace and that's why he isn't on the list. I've walked that section and there are very few uncovered markers.

Hello...I understand you manage thousands of memorials, but was wondering where the rather descriptive obituary came for this memorial? There's a lot of data in it (some correct, some incorrect based on my family documents)and I'd like to know who to follow up with about it. Thanks.

|nanette claunch jaco||Reuben Arnold Claunch #61769683|
Hello Leslie, I noticed that you have the Claunch name in your cemetery list. Also that you have been researching your family a long time. I'm hoping that you can maybe help me. I know that we Claunches apparently all started in the USA with Hieronymus Glantz in 1732. I also noticed that you have listed in your cemeteries, Reuben Arnold Claunch. He was the brother to my great-great grandfather, Wiley T. Claunch #5476245. And I believe their father was Madison Love Clonch who was born in Grainger co.,Tn, abt. 1791 and died in St Clair co.,Al. abt.1852. My question is do you have any idea how to connect these men to our ancestor, Hieronymus? Any names would help.

I just checked the paper and found an obit for Mary and a funeral notice for William "Sam" Slayton.
They download as full pages of the paper in pdf format and the obit and/or funeral notice are on the pages.
I can email these to you if you want them.

|nanette claunch jaco||Addie Claunch Nugent #8604752|
I noticed that you maintain this memorial. I realize this is just a shot in the dark but you mention that you are working on your husbands family. I was hoping that Addie might be a part of his family that your working on. She was a sister to my great grandfather, Perry Francis Claunch. My daddy spent several years before his death in 2007 attempting to find the connection to Heironmus Glantz(the original Claunch in America) and our family. And since then I have been trying to do the same. Would you by any chance know the connection or maybe know who to point me to?

|MaryK||Photo requests for St. Pats, Bay City|
I was unable to fill these requests because the office lady is very unhelpful about locating graves. She hates a list so I have found it easiest for the individual who is requesting the photo to find out the location. I have an index of existing tombstones that some nice ladies did for the Bay County GENWEB but that's for the old St. Pats where most burials are from the early 1900s. Sorry!

|Bill Stephens||RE: Hannah Colcord @ Topeka Cemetery|
The are three Colcords buried at Topeka Cemetery, all in section 60 lot 3
Doan Colcord in lot 3, grave N3.
Hannah Colcord in lot 3, space S3, Oct 7, 1806-Feb 12, 1901
Marion G Colcord, also in grave S3 (there must have only been two grave locations in that lot) Aug 18, 1845-Oct 15, 1903.
http://topekacemetery.org/contents/index.php/find-graves is the cemetery's on-line database that lists all grave information.
hope that helps
