|Susan Zmrzel||RE: Baby Taylor|
The last time I was in Needles the City of Needles had the records on the burials in that cemetery.

Hi Diane, I think your best source of info would be the Seneca Library, they have a lot of info, cemetery books, death & marriage lists, microfilm records, etc. The courthouse is also in Seneca & a good source, I'm not sure if they'd have anything the library doesn't. I think the historical info is at the library also. Good luck with your research, it can be a challenge, but what fun! Luella

Hi Diane, I'm not related, was just adding names to old cemeteries for family to find them. The libraries have the lists of ones buried there, not sure how they get them, I'm sure there can be errors. I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you, sure would be nice to have the family all linked, there are a lot of Barnes buried here. Luella

How have you been?! :-)
Thought you might like to know that I just discovered graves for Edna Elizabeth Taylor Finley and her husband A. Lincoln Finley at Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernardino. I made memorials for them in case you might like to check them out. Do you have any idea what the 'A' stands for? I have seen both 'Adam' and 'Abraham' - but have no real proof of either!
If you have any information or photos for either memorial, would you care to share?
Anything new and exciting on the genealogy, family or rodeo front?
Love 'n hugs,

I noticed your note in his flowers, and thought you might want to know that I added a photo of his tombstone.

Instead of leaving flowers with family info, please use the edit tab. When flowers are left, there is no notification, so corrections, addition and links can not be made. All the info you added in the flowers is listed and is not needed.

Diane, This came from a Cemetery Register at the Library, as old as this is if it was from the stone it could be Clarke. Have you put in a request for his stone? A 1 could be a worn 7. Are you kin? Would be happy to transfer!

Okay Diane... I just requested deletion of the duplicate memorial for Frank Perdew. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

Thank you for the photos of Cunnie's and Frank's markers... and also thank you for the cute newspaper excerpt regarding the birth of Frank's child. I cannot imagine how 'Cunnie' could be derived from Grover Cleveland - and am wondering if there was another child who died young that we don't have recorded?
I added this excerpt to the bottom of Frank Perdew's memorial - crediting you. Is that good?

You had added a few photos of James Bishop and his wife Ellie. Thought you might like to know I have added an obit for James.

I'm dying to make a memorial for Elkanah Perdew... but don't know where he is buried! Do you?
Would you be willing to share the obit you found on him from the Dec. 25, 1883 "Ft. Madison Weekly Democrat"? (How did you come across that?)

I sent you another email in reply to the one you sent - but still not sure it got through. Did it go straight to your spam box?

Hi Diane... I have some family history questions for you. Sent an email to your AOL account, but it bounced because your spam filter is too high, according to the message I received. How can I get in touch with you?

County of Death: COTTONWOOD
I'm not sure what kind of research you are doing. If it is strictly Civil War, this may be all I can do for you. However, I do volunteer lookups in this county and easily found the above on the online death register for Minnesota. If you would like copies of his obit or hers, let me know.

I've added the additional info and credited you. Thanks again.

Thank you for this. Can you confirm that he served in that unit in the CW? I added him from a list of veterans buried in this cemetery. I only had their name, military unit and date of death from that document to go from. I've been meaning to get back and add more info from their obits. I think this proves my theory that a minimal listing is better than nothing.
If he's a relative I'd be glad to transfer. I expect his marker will be photographed this spring by another graver who is working on this cemetery. If you want one sooner put in a photo request and I'll drive over (less than a mile) as soon as there is no snow in my yard.

The requested corrections & additional info has been added to Sampson's memorial page. Same cemetery as for George Robshaw.

Sorry this reply has taken so long. I have not been on the computer since early last summer, and don't know how long I'll be on this time.
The requested corrections & info have been added to George's memorial page for the Timberlake Cemetery, Atalissa Muscatine Co., Iowa.

In this Barnes family plot were also 3 other stones, Zena Barnes, E. Burton Barnes, and Baby Barnes. The baby is just right of the large Barnes tombstone, then E. Burton, then Zena. If you look to the North in the photo, that is where "mother" and "father" stones are.
