RE: Annie Hoy Struble photo
That was quick! You are welcome. I wish I could have read dates on the smaller stones. It was my first time visiting that cemetery. I will Check their markers again. Sometimes just a different time of day can make the difference.

Union & Rinehart photo requests
Hi there. I was at DeLand Memorial Gardens yesterday and hoped to fulfill your requests for photos. However, the cemetery lists burial locations not by the name of the deceased, but by the name of the person who purchased/owns the plot. Seems very odd to me. Would you have any idea who that might be?

I'd love to take these photos for you!

Eric Terhune
Charles Walter Brannigan
I just wanted to clear up some confusion about the names on the stones. The birth records state that he was born as Charles Walter Brannigan. I can assure you that since he was my ex father in law, that in life no one called him Charles LOL... He was always Walter just as the stones say. His son was Walter also so that's were the Jr. came in.
Since genealogy is a resource for everyone to build on and use, I tend to stick with the way the original records were recorded. At least that way people can find the records in online data bases.
I hope this clears this up and I was thinking about posting a clarification on the Find A Grave memorial to this effect.
Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into this for all of us RABID genealogists!!

RE: Charles Brannigan
Nice photos, Fred.
When checking on his birthplace, it was found that the CA Birth Index had his name as Charles W. rather than Walter C., so that's what I put on his memorial. I figure the birth record is the official record, even though it looks like he preferred to go by his middle name.
